its always changing in europe how much difference is between french and brit economy???
Not much, just by a small margin at the moment.
But this small gap will be wider if the UK economy continues to grow at this current rate (3.2% to 3.6% y/y) in a long term, and France gains little or no growth.
It is hard to maintain high GDP "stable" growth for developed countries.
GDP nominal in 2007
UK = $2.858 trillion
France = $2.709 trillion
GDP nominal in 2013
France = $2.807 trillion
UK = $2.523 trillion
GDP nominal in 2014
UK = $2.902 trillion ($2.97 to $3 trillion is predicted when the IMF releases GDP infos for every country next year)
France = $2.808 trillion
The bottom line is it took the UK 6 years to surpass the France and regain it's former world's 5th and Europe's 2nd largest economy position.
Stay tuned for the next global financial crisis, be prepared for the worst and hope for the best before Ethiopia and Zambia takeover our economies.
