Mate India's role in Afghanistan is already over. Read the article named 'Raheel doctrine that was published in June 2014 in The News to understand current situation.
What I know from my own reliable sources is that the USA has accepted the new role for China and its ally Pakistan and there for China has agreed to allow US to hold a few airbases till 2032. India will be sidelined. Ghani visited Pakistan, China and Saudu Arab before visiting India and that was already the writing on the walll.
After the Peshawar school attack last December, Raheel travelled to Kabul the next day and had serious talk with Ghani about terrorist financings and facilities On their side of the border. That was las last major terrorist attack. Pakistan has been allowed to induct hot persues into the Afghan territories and have started training their army.
A lot is happening behind closed doors but in few years you'll already see the new geo-political landscape in the region.

Buddy, be honest!

There was no need to feed taliban after Afg -soviet war but you still fed them so that their factions can be created to work similarly against India. This greed of Kashmir took you down.

Had you had dismantled the taliban , or even worked to terminate their operations in the last 2 decades. You would have not stuck with this Zarb e Azb. Your created gun which backfired after US started pressurising you to dismantle them. But you had vested interest and lack of capability to control it.

How did they went out of control? Pakistan supported Taliban before they had any links with OSAMA or Al qaida and USA did same when they were fighting with communist Russia. Pakistan withdrew their support for Taliban after they refused to listen to our army delegation and refused to hand over Osama to US after 9/11. Talibans had support of local pashtuns in Afghanistan and opposite Hazara shia group had support of Iran
That's why I said that people here have no clue about the fall out of Afghan war. Talibs only turned against us because of our alliance with USA and participation in WoT. We're a victim of WoT.

Pakistan continues to support Taliban only now you are trying to obfuscate the issue by calling them Good Taliban and Bad Taliban.
Again you are wrong and misinformed. The term 'good Taliban/bad taliban' was first used by US Nato secretary when they first had direct talks with Taliban in Doha. DFI and Indian in other fora have hijacked the term ever since.

You want Afghanistan at yourvside and same time you want to use Taliban against India in Afghanistan. This is Afghanistan war for you and more over this is why it has affected you.
Afghanistan is our neighbor and we share a long porous border with them. Whatever happens in Afghanistan affects us so yes we have vested interests in their government and the man in Kabul. For a decade Taliban were only recognised by three countries, i.e. Pakistan, KSA and UAE and they were fighting the Northern Alliance backed regime in Kabul which again was supported by India and Russia
We made our peace with the Taliban in regional and our own interest and we had all the right to do so.USA wasted hundreds of billions fighting the Talibs before they realised that they are not the enemy.
That proves us right doesn't it?

It's you who need to be honest and once try to see the reality from a neutral pov. Americans left hastly in 1987 leaving behind hundreds of thousands of munition, 80.000 well trained mercenaries who were trained in CIA canps in Pakistan. Afghanistan was in state if civil war and to make things worse, the USA imposed fresh sanctions on Pakistan once their objectives were net in Afghanistan, abandoned Pakistan with a terrorist breeding ground once again. There was no Taliban, the warriors were called Mujahideen and they gave birth to Taliban, a militant terrorist arm. What Pakistan did with them was what every country would have done under the contemporary circumstances, balance the act and try to work together to come to a workable solution.

Afghanistan is our neighbour too. But using proxies, must not be entertained by Pakistani establishment. Go for diplomacy and dialogue.

More over Afghanistan is sovereign country. You should not use these proxies to spread terror in Afghanistan and target other countries in Afgh.

The workable solution was not to allow them have bases in KPK bordering Nooristan which Pakistan did not do. Rather used them to do jehad in Kashmir. This is where you got stuck with them.

There is no doubt that Talibani factions were used as Mujahideens in Kashmir. And exactly after 9/11 when US had greater agenda in Arab world the paradigm shifted. And you became a part of war on terror.
Now Pakistan is stuck between partial friendship with Taliban and other side US.

Wrong, Afghanistan is not your neighbor and you share not an inch of border with them. And it's you who have been creating troubles for us using Afghanistan as stated by precious US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel.

It is you all who think that, we do not share border with them. But POK belongs to India only, and we do share border with them. Any how that is a different discussion.

There are no proofs that India created any trouble for you. Rather Afghanistan is an Islamic country, so they should be good to you, how are they allowing us to do adventures against Pak?

Now even Afghanistan is making statements and giving warning to Pakistan that do not try patience otherwise they will do hot pursuit inside Pak territory.

I agree mistakes have been made but not by the military but corrupt and incompetent civil leadership. TTP set foot in Pakistani soil under the US puppet Zardari who was too busy looting the country. Kiyani was under pressure to lead a coup against him but couldn't proceed because USA and UK were opposed to it. He was destroying Pakistan and that was exactly what the western powers wanted him to do. Davis affair, Bin Laden raid and Salala massacre happened during his time in office. Any other country would have made the Pam to resign but not Pakistan because of US pressure
As far as using these guys in Kashmir, well mind you that most of these terrorists are mercenaries and work for money. They are brainwashed and trained to fight. After Afghanistan they found new grounds to fight in Iraq, Somalia, Mali and Kashmir as well.

Come on, do you really believe that India us innocent??? You can't be that naive
Chuck Hagel stated it before he became US Defence Secretary.

How about Doval's warning that we will lose Balochistan. He must have a credible and active network to make such claim or us he talking gas?

Who told you that we are innocent? There is a price to pay for acting against our national interest.

There is no price too big to pay for 26/11, Balochistan doesn't even cover the principal.

Go to UN and cry and beg.

They would first LAUGH at you since you are a Terrorist State

Then they would tell you to take out all of your Army, STOP Terrorism and then start the peace process bilaterally.

The new issue is Balochistan...

Baluchistan will be free soon........... Insha Allah .........Amin :)

Oh well if you trouble the Simla agreement all the time through infiltration across LOC and Kargil war, then Dobhal has to make such statements.

Dude Chuck Hagel belongs to the same country which deployed drones against your civilian population and pressurized you to do more on war on terror. You are forgetting this :)

These mistakes are not done during Kayani regime but long back in 90's after Af-Soviet war. One decade was sufficient to dismantle them. But the afeem business is so profitable that MI6 and ISI worked towards it'S boom hence Taliban remained. Had Pakistan backed off during that time there such problems would have not been created-

It is not Raheel Sharif which has controlled the insurgency , even Kayani would have done the same. But currently US is not interested in war on terror because their agenda is achieved, which was taking out Osama bin Laden. If OBL was alive, even Raheel Sharif would be facing same pressure as Kayani faced.

But in larger context, it is Pakistan only which intentionally became a part of this coalition to gain from US and also from Taliban, against India in Kashmir.

You cannot stop these Mujahideens going to Somalia or Iraq, but you could stop them entering Kashmir, which you did not.

well $1.9 is quiet alot of money considering they defence budget is just over $7 billion this year. but typically this figure is a base figure the true defence budget is larger than published. end of the day they getting rid of the militants so thats always a plus and soon it will be back to normal and people can get on with there ordinary lives.
You keep saying that you are British but it is obvious that English is not your first language

1. You start sentences with a lower case letter. Even my four year old granddaughter knows better than that

2. You have many grammatical and spelling mistakes; starting sentences with "but" is something kids are taught not to do.

3. You need to pick up a dictionary and find out the difference between "quiet" and "quite". You have used the wrong word above. Also the difference between "there and "their".

4. You say you are a Brit but most "True Brits" say they are English or Scottish, Welsh or Irish. Only a naturalized Pakistani would say he is British.

i'm badly dyslexic. thats why my profession does not involves me typing only coding. yes i am aware my grammar and spelling is not the best.

not really no, if you say you are english, then that could mean you may be American or Canadian or Australian, hence why i use the term British not english.
