I do not understand, and frankly it angers me how powers that be had none in their ranks who did not have an iota of love for such homegrown brands.
Indira Congress has always been anti-India, but at the time when Gold spot was going out of the market, PV Narasimha Rao was in power.
BTW: Later on when I learnt what gold spot meant, I was like, wow, we had legendary people in marketing.

Instant coffee is basically waste of money high in chicollry ...almost 80% ..

If u want real cooffe invest in a moka pot or french press and buy coffee beans ....

Avoid instant. Go for 100% pure or max 10 to 15% chicory content powders if you prefer south indian filter coffee flavour. I would recommend Cothas filter coffee powder if you are in Bangalore.

My preference is 100% pure with karipetti (palm sugar) as the sweetener.

Iam only aware of nescafe or Bru among instant coffees.
