The railway traverses countless gorges, mountains, hill peaks and unstable geographic structures.

Most sophisticated tunneling techniques were applied in the construction, still with scores of lives lost due to the hardship of this project.

Chinese is not known to all of our posters who are not Chinese.

No language is a taboo. But if people don't know the language, it is nor correct to post it without a translation in a foreign language forum.

it's cakewalk building the Kunming-Dali-Lijiang-Xianggelila-Linzhi-Lhasa line compared with this marvel of engineering。

The planned Chengdu-Lhasa railway is more or less on par with this feat of ingenuity and hardship。
