With 2020 around the corner I must draw parallels between early 1900s and 2010s.
Today we have rapid industrialization, modernization, advances in communication technologies. Our way of life is changed, our aspirations have grown, we are exploring unknown, the middle class is rising. World has increasing number of multiple global powers.
On the other side there is a rise of radical extreme ideology with plans of world domination by every means.
Its late 1800s and early 1900s.
Back then the extreme ideology was authoritarianism, both communism and fascism fall in this category.
Today we have Islam.
A religion that is equally authoritarian if not more. Followers of this religion are extremely militaristic. They want to spread their religion at any cost.
Here on this forum we all know about incompatible nature of Islam with any culture or nation so I will not waste my time describing why.
WW3 can happen between Islamic forces and rest of the remaining world. It will not be a fight for territory but for ideology.
All opinions are welcome...
