All big cities in Pakistan are back under lockdowns. They are doing 25-30K test per day only.
Compared to that UP is doing 2.5 lac test per day! Rajasthan is doing meagre 35-36K tests.
I am pretty sure its not beyond the Pukis to grab random abduls from the street even if they are healthy and subjecting them to a test to keep positivity ratio low.
It could also be extremely plausible that those 35k-36k tests are actually 2-3k real world tests subjected to Madarassa maths.. After all, arent they all 10 feet tall ?

Hmm read read read all vaccine export cry babys . WHO is now openly asking SII to fulfil it commitment for COVAX and how they are already short supplied by 15 Crore vaccines by SII . And some are shedding crocodile tears here saying Mudi exported 6 crore and deprived indian children of vaccines . Scamgress jokers have put this as status also morons without even knowing SII exported vaccines on its contract commitments and not because GOI asked them to do .

Few vaccines given by BB and SII as goodwill gesture didn't even make up to 1 Crore .

WHO chief said that once the COVID-19 outbreak in India recedes, SII will need to get back on track and catch up on its delivery commitments to COVAX.

WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said that once the devastating COVID-19 outbreak in India recedes, the Serum Institute of India will need to get back on track and catch up on its delivery commitments to COVAX, the global initiative to supply coronavirus vaccines to nations around the world.

During a daily virtual press briefing on Monday, the World Health Organisation Director-General said that the surge in COVID-19 cases around the world has compromised the global vaccine supply and there is already a shortfall of 190 million doses to COVAX by the end of June.

COVAX, the global COVID vaccine equity scheme, has so far delivered 65 million doses to 124 countries and economies but it is dependent on countries and manufacturers honouring their commitments.

Once the devastating outbreak in India recedes, we also need the Serum Institute of India to get back on track and catch up on its delivery commitments to COVAX, Ghebreyesus said.

The UN children's agency UNICEF said the devastating surge in coronavirus cases in India has impacted vaccine supplies to the COVAX facility.

Among the global consequences of the situation in India, a global hub for vaccine production is a severe reduction in vaccines available to COVAX.

Soaring domestic demand has meant that 140 million doses intended for distribution to low- and middle-income countries through the end of May cannot be accessed by COVAX. Another 50 million doses are likely to be missed in June, UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore said in a statement.

A note to editors in the UNICEF statement said that shortfall numbers are based on delays related to shipments from the Serum Institute of India (SII) only. Other delays related to the original COVAX delivery schedule are expected to be made up by the end of June.

There is currently no timetable to resolve SII-related delays, the note said.

UNICEF said the COVAX facility will deliver its 65 millionth dose in the coming days when it should have been at least its 170 millionth.

By the time G7 leaders gather in the UK next month, and as a deadly second wave of COVID-19 will likely continue to sweep across India and many of its South Asian neighbours, the shortfall will be near 190 million doses.

The UNICEF Executive Director said in addition to vaccine nationalism, limited production capacity and lack of funding is the reason why the roll-out of COVID vaccines is so behind schedule.

While expressing concern over the surge in coronavirus cases in India, Fore said the UN has issued repeated warnings of the risks of "letting down our guard and leaving low- and middle-income countries without equitable access to vaccines, diagnostics and therapeutics.

We are concerned that the deadly spike in India is a precursor to what will happen if those warnings remain unheeded. While the situation in India is tragic, it is not unique.

Cases are exploding and health systems are struggling in countries near like Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives and far, like Argentina and Brazil, Fore said, warning that the cost for children and families will be incalculable.

The longer the virus continues to spread unchecked, the higher the risk of more deadly or contagious variants emerging, she said, adding that the clearest pathway out of this pandemic is a global, equitable distribution of vaccines, diagnostics and therapeutics.

While COVAX -- led by the WHO, Vaccine Alliance Gavi and Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations with UNICEF as implementing partner -- represents such a pathway, Fore voiced her concern that COVAX is undersupplied.

Earlier this month, SII CEO Adar Poonawalla said it was not possible to ramp up production overnight since vaccine manufacturing is a specialised process. The SII has received total orders of over 26 crore doses from the Government of India, of which more than 15 crore doses have been supplied.

In a tweet last week, Poonawalla said that the SII is doing our best to ramp up production & launch new vaccines on priority for India.

Fore cited new data analysis provided by life sciences research facility Airfinity that indicates that G7 nations and Team Europe' group of European Union Member States could donate around 153 million vaccine doses if they shared just 20 per cent of their available supply over June, July and August.

The WHO chief said Pfizer has committed to providing 40 million doses of vaccines with COVAX this year, but the majority of these would be in the second half of 2021.

Moderna also has signed a deal for 500 million doses with COVAX, but the majority has been promised only for 2022.

As per the pact which included funding to support manufacturing increase, the SII is contracted to provide COVAX with the SII-licensed and manufactured AstraZeneca (AZ)-Oxford vaccine (known as COVISHIELD) to 64 lower-income economies participating in the Gavi COVAX AMC (including India), alongside its commitments to the Government of India, the WHO had said.

Last year, it was announced that the collaboration among SII, Gavi and the Gates Foundation would accelerate manufacturing and delivery of up to an additional 100 million doses of future vaccines for low- and middle-income countries in 2021.

India's COVID-19 death toll on Tuesday climbed to 2,78,719 with a record 4,329 fresh fatalities, while the single-day rise in cases stood at 2.63 lakh, the lowest in 28 days, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

UP BJP MLA: Better not to speak or will face sedition charge

In another instance of the ruling party’s leaders raising questions on the state government’s handling of the Covid situation, Rakesh Rathore, the BJP MLA from Sitapur (Sadar), said he might have to face “sedition” charges if he spoke too much.

While speaking to journalists in Sitapur, the MLA, when asked why, despite rising Covid cases and the need for more beds, a trauma centre project in Sitapur district was still non-operational, said, “Vidhayakon ki haisiyat kya hai…Hum jyada kahenge to desh droh, raj droh humpe bhi to lagega (What is our status anyway? If we MLAs speak too much, then we too will have to face sedition charges).”

British mongrels are using this term in whole sale. BBC is at the forefront of printing it out almost daily. Never mind, we will have the last laugh.
Even the british know now to take the opposite version of BBC.....it made itself irrelevant atleast for me like 14 years ago....except for their plant earth or animal documentaries. Their entertainment programming has become monotonous and unoriginal for a while now

Medical infra in Uttar Pradesh is at God’s mercy: Allahabad High Court

PRAYAGRAJ: The Allahabad High Court on Monday said the medical infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh’s villages and towns is ‘Ram Bharose’ (at the mercy of God), while taking serious exception to the disposal of the body of a patient, Santosh Kumar, as unidentified in Meerut district hospital.

If this is the state of affairs of a medical college in a city like Meerut, then the healthcare system of the state, particularly in towns and villages can be likened to the famous Hindi saying — Ram Bharose, the court observed, adding it’s a case of ‘high degree carelessness’.

These toolkits are just tip of the iceberg. Obviously these are primarily driven by Hindu hatred. The kind of organisation which also include global news feeders and direct involvement of state heads is just too hard to keep a tab on it.

Everyday I see predictable patterns and decodes what they are up to. We are so pushed back against the wall that now only serious solution are left in hand.

The time to condemn and expose these snakes has finished. They have started killing people in the name of democracy, freedom of expression and secularism. This need a hard and overt reset.

Yeh lo chinese virus vaccine by chinese already talking about boosters shots after 6 months . Looks like they will release an upgraded variant by year end to help world celebrate 2022 new year .

Last Updated: 18th May, 2021 21:52 ISTUAE To Offer Booster Shot To Recipients Of China's Sinopharm COVID Vaccine
UAE announced that it will begin offering booster shots to those who received the Chinese state-backed Sinopharm vaccine six months after vaccination.

Written By
Associated Press Television News

The United Arab Emirates announced Tuesday that it will begin offering booster shots to those who received the Chinese state-backed Sinopharm vaccine six months after vaccination.

The brief statement comes after some in the UAE received the third shot amid concerns of a low antibody response from the vaccine. Last month, China's top disease control official, in a rare acknowledgement, said current vaccines offer low protection against the coronavirus.

China has distributed hundreds of millions of doses of domestically made vaccines abroad and is relying on them for its own mass immunisation campaign. The state-owned company has not reported detailed late-stage test results for scientists to independently analyse.

As part of the state's proactive strategy to provide maximum protection for society, the door has been opened for the public to receive an additional supportive dose of Sinopharm vaccine for people who have received the vaccine previously and who have completed more than six months on the second dose, said Dr Farida al-Hosani, an Emirati health spokeswoman, during a statement broadcast on state television.

The UAE initially said the vaccine was 86 per cent effective in the first public release of information on the shot's efficacy. But in the time since, it has offered no study data to support its figures.

The capital of Abu Dhabi extensively used Sinopharm, while the neighbouring emirate of Dubai began offering Pfizer-BioNTech and Oxford-AstraZeneca. In recent weeks, Abu Dhabi also began to offer the Pfizer shot as well.

The World Health Organization recently gave the shot emergency approval, potentially paving the way for millions of doses to reach needy countries through a U.N.-backed program rolling out coronavirus vaccines.

The UAE boasts it is among the world's fastest vaccination campaigns per capita. The country had heavily relied on the Sinopharm shot to vaccinate its vast foreign labour force.

Yes, absolutely true. Ronald Reagon I think said that fascism will come in the form of liberalism and it is playing out exactly. Mind numbing Oxygen wasting generation have literally taken over in the last 2 decades at tipping over levels. For the life of me, I can never understand the instinct to do self harm and worship islamic brutality? Perhaps its just some of us that feel this way...

Hmm so as per you karnataka has close to 40 % positive cases of its over all population ? because TPR is 39 % of 98k test done . so if that was taken as yard stick yesterday pan india TPR stands at 14 % so can we take it as close to 20 crore positive cases across the country ?

He said what the numbers saying total positive reported cases are less than 3 Crore which is 2 % of our population but he also said 98 % is still very susceptible and vulnerable did you missed that part completely ?

Positivity phelane ke chakkar mein kuch bhi bol doge ?.. Sala Karnataka had 39 percent positivity rate yesterday.. and GOI says India has accounted for every covid positive person.. Meanwhile lots of love to this guy Lav Agarwal.. :bplease:
