It looks like even vaccine have less chance among diabetic people . Read somewhere covid virus multiply manyfold when blood glucose level is high ... Lots of indians due to food habits are diabetic ( white rice , 4 times suger tea , sweets , potatos ) ... And i am seeing many marwaries are dieing as well . Its just a observation . Blood suger and belly fat these two things are evil at this moment .

Uncle passed away this morning, heart failure. he was fine yesterday, he was even complaining about hospital food not having salt yesterday.

Sad to hear that .

3 new oxygen plants to come up in Ladakh by May end


Three new oxygen plants will be commissioned in the Union Territory of Ladakh by the end of May to meet the needs of coronavirus patients. This was stated at a meeting chaired by Lt Governor R K Mathur here on Saturday to review the preparedness of the health department for COVID-19 handling with detailed discussions on infrastructure, procurement of essential equipment and medicines, an official spokesman said.

3 new oxygen plants to come up in Ladakh by May end

The oxygen plants would be dispatched by the supplier shortly and the plants will be commissioned by the end of May, 2021, Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education Pawan Kotwal said.

Even as scores of coronavirus infected people are dying every day in Gujarat for want of hospital beds, Oxygen and anti-biotic injection, the state has earned the distinction of running a 40-bed Covid hospital in a Goshala (cow shed) that has 5,000 cows which provide unlimited quantum of urine and dung with which COVID-19 patients are being treated amid chanting of mantras.

While allopathic hospitals need high-tech facilities such as ICUs, Oxygen and ventilator to provide medical treatment to COVID-19 patients, in the Goshala in Tetoda village of Deesa taluka of north Gujarat bordering Pakistan, the only requirement for treating patients is that of cow dung and its urine of which there is unlimited supply and that too free of cost.

Instead of expensive allopathic medicines, the Goshala Covid hospital uses cow milk-based raw material like ghee, urine and dung to prepare Ayurvedic concoction and potion to treat coronavirus infected patients.

Called ‘Vedalakshana Panchgavya Ayurved Covid Isolation centre, the Goshala has 40 beds in a hall around which grass has been grown which serves twin purpose of providing fodder to the cows as well as keep the place cool. Fans and air coolers too have also been fitted in the hall.

A special ‘Panch Gavya’ kit has been prepared from all cow-produced materials for the COVID-19 patients. The Goshala has also kept a stock of Oxygen cylinders in case an exigency arises.

An essential element of the Panch Gavya Ayurvedic treatment is that patients are made to inhale steam from a concoction of cow urine, dung and ghee. Patients are also covered by a layer of cow dung as part of the treatment.

Patients are served food made from grains, vegetables and fruits grown through organic farming that does not use chemical fertilizer and pesticide but only cow dung and urine as organic manure.
The Goshala proposes to add 60 more beds.

LUCKNOW: Playing a multifaceted role in country’s battle against coronavirus the Army is making efforts to augment medical capacity, provision of medical staff in hospitals and resuscitate oxygen production.
In association with the civil administration, the Army has been swiftly repairing oxygen resources and plants which were considered beyond redemption.

The progenitor of this effort was an initiative of the Central Command of the Indian Army to identify unserviceable oxygen plants in various districts, examine defects, work out the methodology and execute repairs in a race against time.
In the last two weeks, 509 and 510 Army Base workshops engineers and jawans have resurrected unserviceable oxygen plants in Agra, Etawah, Bulandshahr and Saharanpur districts.
