Just 3 states need to control Maharashtra , Gujrat and now Tamilnadu. Then numbers will fall. Rest of states have somewhat controlled.

Add West Bengal and maybe MP.....but that's not my worry alone. Even in states relatively better off like Karnataka and previously Odisha, I'm concerned about the nature of some of the new cases. I'm not given to panic easily but everything suggests we need to be very concerned and that this migrant thing might bring us a fresh wave.

A couple of points of concern, the emphasis on praising CM's and the state administrations for what was almost certainly the doing of a huge slice of luck ( plus a proactive administration in some cases) may come back to bite us if some of the better-off states worry about losing that status more than worry about the fight against the virus itself. Not saying it happened as yet but a possibility. The second point was that states have tended to act as independent silos and a lot of people ended up patting some of the states and criticizing others. I thought even then that if Maharashtra and WB were done for, it was only a matter of time before other states followed. With this migrant rush and the relative easing, we might have already reached that stage.

I should've said, but my younger bro is from bio-tech and bio-informatics and he is a data scientist at a firm in Pune. He is working with some Covid-19 proteins that simulates drug targeting with ML models and AI, with his team. It was recently accepted by IBM and CDC of United states, CDC was funding there firm. He will be showcased in a Nvidea Fight for Corona using tech video, since they were using some new Nvidea Kubernetis pods with its new "ampere" GPUs.

Dry Lab models were a success and now awaiting form Wet-Lab testing.

Hope the data they provided helps our nation too, since it was backchanneled to NVL (national virology lab).
