Ground report on the issues that lower-middle class folks are challenged with (based on my own experience )

I am a working class guy doing hard work on the periphery of urban setup. Following are the issues that i am facing in this lockdown:

1) I had a football and i was playing football by maintaining social distance but since we are playing on concrete surfaces of urban jungles, the sewing lines of the football are tearing off. I wanted to buy another football but GoI does NOT consider football as an "essential" item. So i am challenged.

2) In my life, copy-books, cellotapes, erasers are "essential" items. But it seems so far GoI does not recognize that!

3) Even for attending school through video conference, we need headphones etc. But those things are out-of-stock on ecommerce sites. In the new "digital india", will GoI mark headphones and other computer accessories as essential items?

This may be due to overwhelming demand and stocks of inverters, batteries, A/C and Coolers that peak initially in summer.

Seems like Pandemic will be underplayed now.

Given how muslims single handedly made the mockery of lockdown it was never practically sustainable to enforce lockdown for long.

Also politically now Modi can vow Muslim voters for being generous during Ramjaan or Ramadan.

By capacity building I understand that government now has enough resources to handle community spread?

What could have been the threshold at which government felt confident to bring out large chunk of casual work force and why the same could have not done earlier?

Cases are still on the rise.

I trust in the collective wisdom of Indians and hope it will be contained some how.

Modi got good PR. On top of that people donated their hard earn money for PM Care fund. No good nation makes its people poorer, rather gives money back to them.

During elections and then during Demonetisation he said he will pay back people. All he has done is Socialist juggling and complete surrender to muslims.

Like it or not he is being misinformed. I also believe he is micro managing Amit Shah and other Hindu nationalist voices in the party.

Imo,this'll blowback on the face of the government.

it will be stop start kind of a situation, if one case found in the area, whole area will be quarantined as hotspot.
No point in locking up 400 districts which are virus free.

Still not able to make out the reason for this sudden relaxation. It could have continued till May 3rd. Maybe the secularism bug bit modi and team too hard ,so he wants to score brownie points from the

Obviously the lockdown could not have been continued indefinitely ,but 3rd May is just a week away. They were buying time to get ready for around few lakh cases. Once the lockdown is relaxed ,the numbers will go up within a span of 3 weeks ,the areas will be tagged as hotspots and locked completely.
