This is bullshit news there is massive shortage of wood and other materials for last rites. Wood alone had price hike by two to three time. people were unable to properly cremate there loved ones. There is also this moronic view in media that every death after 2019 is because of covid.
sale cewtiye.

Actually, in the northern parts there is a belief amongst certain communities during certain periods of the year, the dead are not to be cremated, but to be offered to river. Its done very respectfully and has been a custom amongst them for as long as memory goes. Its got nothing to do with lack of wood (there are social organisations who ensure that doesnt happen). Do not fall for Chinese propaganda.

Fake news not based on any data. Just guesses made by disgruntled anti establishment dweebs and known anti India propagandists.

You do realize that the more deaths there were, the more people Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has killed using its CCP virus bioweapon developed at Wuhan Institute of Virology and other labs by CCP military funded research, right? Everyone knows that CCP spread the virus by sending Chinese travellers to other countries while locking down within China.
Which means that the world has every right to nuke Beijing and kill off the CCP leadership and CCP military leadership as well as bomb all CCP military bioweapon labs.

How close is India to achieve herd immunity? What experts say

The latest serosurvey conducted by the Indian Council of Medical Research has revealed that two-thirds of the population have antibodies against Covid-19 infection, while the rest one-third is still vulnerable. Following the national findings, states have also been releasing their serosurvey results which again brings the issue of 'herd immunity' to the fore, as states like Bihar, Odisha have claimed that their serosurvey results indicate that they have nearly achieved herd immunity.

Caution: This could be another irresponsible reporting unless explicitly stated by the govt agencies

Kerala❤USA.... In covid trends...
They will suffer again, only this time media will supress it since it's creepy pedo Joe in power.

As for us, take out the most literate state and we'd have less than 10k cases.

But our state, including malards surrenders in front of jehadis.

Result of Eid shenanigans will come a week later, this spike is due to more testing

We could see a deadly third, fourth and fifth wave killing an unspecified number of Indians(Govt obviously won't admit nor publish actual toll) if the present shoddy rate of vaccination continues.

So where do you think the bottleneck is ? States throttling the rates and not vaccinating required numbers per day or center not doing their bit by supplying ? Center had said that states supply must run below a certain minimum threshold to have them replenished I believe, and many a times that threshold is not reached.

Going at about 35-45 lakh doses per day averaging about 15 crore doses a month.

Is the center procuring enough regardless of the pace being followed by the state?

We should have covered at least over half of our population by now with at least one dose but are still languishing at ~45 crore doses(at least one dose).

Cases are on the rise again. Two cases in our apartment today. The residents were kind enough to inform the RWA. Both above 50, doubly vaccinated... mild symptoms so far. Only time will tell whether we go into another semi-lockdown in September/Oct.

Nothing wrong here... maybe MoHFW is still not sure whether human to human transmission is possible as even the WHO isn't 100% sure.
