Calf serum used in manufacturing of viral vaccines: Bharat Biotech

Bharat Biotech on Wednesday clarified that while new born calf serum is used in the manufacturing of viral vaccines, the final formulation of its Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin is free from all impurities.

"New born calf serum is used in the manufacturing of viral vaccines. It is used for the growth of cells, but neither used in growth of SARS CoV2 virus nor in the final formulation," the company said in a statement.

"Covaxin is is highly purified to contain only the inactivated virus components by removing all other impurities," it added.

This is khangress propaganda at work. I don't care if calf serum was used unless there is cruelty involved. SII have created many vaccines using horse serum .

fact is that every effective vaccine have animal origins. virus need to grow some where without harming the carrier. Horse is such carrier and now calf is acting as carrier...

Meanwhile, a study carried out by the Department of Science, and involving 200 volunteers who received 2 doses of the Sinovac vaccine, shows that it offers 100% protection against the original strain, but that drops to 50 – 60% against the Alpha variant.

100% protection against original strain which no longer exists as it is superseded by new variants, so this info is useless. Against B.1.117 Alpha Variant the protection is 50% and against Delta Variant it would even go down. So Chinese vaccines are useless against Delta Variant. Please take a note.

What about:
Delta Plus max
Delta plus Pro
Delta Plus Ultra
Delta plus Max pro Ultra!

Vaccines will provide a basic level of immunity against the various variants. You can get infected by the severity will be much lower. Atleast get >70% of population vaccinated with the current vaccines. This will reduce the carriers of the virus and serious case will decrease.
Anyway I believe over 2-3 yrs this will become a Flu virus which would need seasonal flu shots.

Reichsfuhrer Frau Merkel should now be happy that she allowed Injuns to "have a Pharma Industry"

View attachment 95095
German PM Merkel literally said that “We, the Germany allowed Indian pharma industry to get so big” r/ROFL. Now how big will be the pain in her Chinese arse knowing the fact that “3rd world, poor, filthy, slummy and ugly” Indians made a vaccine that is 80.4% effective while “superpower, beautiful, ultra rich, hi tech” German vaccine at only 47% effectiveness. Germans hate India to the core so I’m not surprised, they still remember British Indian Army. But the Germans should keep their hatred for India in their ass and fuck off.

How does that affect an average German’s viewpoint? They are leftists and they hate rightism because of Hitler.
media corporations who are willing to propagate “India bad, india poor, India dirty, India unhealthy” narratives will be encouraged.

case in point DW, Full negative propaganda on India and it is a state boardcaster for Germany.

Hitler was right wing?? I beg to differ.

He didnt considered himself either to be a Right winger nor a Left winger.

By India Science Wire

Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), and Laxai Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, have been given the regulatory approval by the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) to undertake a two-arm phase-II clinical trial to assess the safety and efficacy of the drug Colchicine in the improvement of clinical outcomes during the treatment of COVID-19 patients. The partner CSIR institutes in this important clinical trial are the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad and CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu.

Dr Shekhar C Mande, Director General of CSIR, expressed his happiness on the approval granted to conduct the clinical trial on this approved drug, used for treating gout and related inflammatory conditions.

Dr Ram Vishwakarma, advisor to DG-CSIR highlighted that colchicine in combination with standard of care will be an important therapeutic intervention for COVID patients with cardiac co-morbidities and also for reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines, leading to faster recovery. Several global studies have confirmed now that cardiac complications during the course of COVID-19 infections and post-COVID syndrome are leading to the loss of many lives, and it is essential to look for new or repurposed drugs.

“We are looking forward to the outcome of this Phase II clinical efficacy trial on Colchicine, which may lead to life-saving intervention in the management of hospitalized patients. Since, India is one of the largest producers of this key drug, and if successful, it will be made available to the patients at an affordable cost”, said Dr. S. Chandrasekhar Director CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad, and Dr. DS Reddy, Director, CSIR-IIIM, Jammu.

Dr Ram Upadhayay, CEO, Laxai Life Sciences, informed, that the enrollment of patients has already begun at multiple sites across India and the trial is likely to be completed in the next 8-10 weeks. He further added that this drug can be made available to a large population of India based on the results of this trial and regulatory approval.

Recent clinical studies have reported in leading medical journals about colchicine being associated with a significant reduction in the rates of recurrent pericarditis, post-pericardiotomy syndrome, and peri-procedural atrial fibrillation following cardiac surgery and atrial fibrillation ablation, CSIR statement said.

Scientists study gene variations in Covid-hit children in Karnataka
........

“The virus is constantly mutating. Viruses also follow the principle of survival of the fittest and they will go on mutating and the immune escape variant will be selected in the population,” Prof Ravi said.

.............

“My greatest fear for the third wave is that it will affect children. It is simple common sense. We are immunising the elderly, the middle aged are being immunised and immunisation has started for the young but there is no vaccine for children. The virus will always find a susceptible host. History has taught us that,” Prof Ravi said in a talk recently..
