Gain of function research (basically taking natural viruses and making them more dangerous under the garb of making vaccines) was outlawed in US in early 2010s and no.money was to be given to any other nation / entity working on them.

Then once Trump comes in, the funding is secretly restarted.

Being a part of the research proves nothing. India being a top 5 nation has been a part of so many research activities across the world.

The issue is with the leak of the virus which clearly happened an year after the article you cited. Now we even have proof that Wuhan Virology scientists took medical help one month before the official announcement of COVID, suspicion is on Chinese side.

Plus COVID may have nothing to do with the research India and US have been doing.

Yes, this is what was bewildering. The sudden disapproval of HCQ.

I remember reading articles of a doctor from HYC who successfully treated and managed to to recover over 600 patients Using HCQ + CQ +Zinc within a week in US last year. His articles suddenly disappeared from SM and the use of HCQ was suppressed.

The HCQs are needed to be taken along with two more drugs and they can recover patients quite quickly but the WHO first propagated use of HCQ alone with no other drug and then proclaimed that they are useless.

revaccination policy makes sense I think, vaccine is not a wonder drug. More often than not, vaccine efficacy depends on the virus variant in that area. Vaccines are modified to incorporate current variants in that area every year.

just because someone is vaccinated in India, doesn’t necessarily mean they are immune from a variant in US.
