What perplexed me is that each and every major military has had mobile oxygen generating unit.
Where are ours? Do Indian Army own adequate number of mobile oxygen generation systems?

doesn’t matter, it’s absolutely clear now. You have to buy good publicity, there is no such things as free +ve publicity.

let’s not forget from a western news media point of view it does look like “only good Indian is a dead Indian”.:mad2:

This 2012 CAG report seems to suggest that Army has surplus Oxygen concentrators.
https://cag.gov.in/uploads/download...hments_Defence_Services_18_2012_Chapter_4.pdf
But these seem to be oxygen concentrators for RR, Command hospitals, Base hospitals, etc. Not likely that these are used for Field Hospitals.

There is one Oxygen Generator at Siachen Base Camp:-

I doubt on-site oxygen generation is normally available in Army Field Hospitals. They must rely on hospital supply. Best way to know for sure is if 60 Para Field Ambulance has such a system. If they don't have it, likely nobody does.
.
Hopefully, Army realizes the opportunity of using the Tejas OBOGS technology for deploying DRDO tech Oxygen Generators throughout its hospitals.

Bengaluru 'bed scam': BJP MP alleges hospitals blocked beds in fake names

BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Tuesday alleged that hospitals in the city 'blocked' beds in fake names to make money, at a time when COVID-19 cases were rising in the country and Karnataka.

At least 4,065 beds were 'blocked' in fake names by the hospitals to make a killing, the BJP Yuva Morcha president and Bengaluru South BJP MP alleged.

It's not about money, not in the direct way, anyway. It's about control and power.

The media is controlled by leftist globalists, they want to control nations. The news is plain and simple propoganda designed to drive their agenda. Facts don't matter, they never did.

BJP could probably buy some Indian media, which is like mercenaries for hire, particularly times group or zee or their ilk but most journalists are in an political battle for their masters.

As for international media, they could offer CNN, BBC, NYT et al billions and nothing would change. That's a waste of resource.

International media should be restricted and domestic media should be controlled, threatened. There is no other way.

That BJP hasn't learnt this so late in the game is shocking.

This and that nasal spray made by a team in UK should be put in production too along with vaccines.
The nasal spray reduces the viral load by 95% in one use and over 99% in two doses.
Similarly this DRDO one will help increase O2 level and early recovery.

Complete focus should not be on vaccine only.
Bharat biotech too have developed a nasal sparay..

India 167 million doses,
EU 160 million doses.
Yet India vaccination is slow?
=======
Of course, delivering vaccine doses is good but vaccination is even better. Close to 160 million Europeans now have already received the first shot of the vaccine, that's over 25% of the EU population: President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen

World’s most vaccinated country is witnessing Covid-19 surge worse than India. What does it mean?

Seychelles, an island nation in the Indian Ocean, announced the reopening of borders for tourists in March to revive its economy which is heavily reliant on the tourism industry. The archipelago kicked off an aggressive vaccination drive to inoculate its population of nearly 100,000 and soon became the world’s most vaccinated country.

Seychelles began vaccinating its population against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) using a donation of China's Sinopharm vaccines from the United Arab Emirates. Later, the island nation used the Covishield vaccines, a version of AstraZeneca’s shot manufactured by Pune-based Serum Institute of India (SII).

In spite of these impressive vaccination figures, Seychelles this week reported the highest number of Covid-19 cases per capita, worse than a country like India which has not even 3 per cent of its population fully vaccinated. According to Our World in Data, the latest rolling 7-day average for daily new Covid-19 cases per capita in Seychelles is more than twice India’s.

cant be sure if its a propaganda piece of article to create further panic

The numbers are far greater than 167 million doses.

My friends entire family of 5 have already had their first dose of Covishield. None of them were eligible for the vaccine given the age restriction and this was before Govt. opened up the 18-44 category.

How? Once vial is opened and there aren't enough people who have registered, near and dear ones(relatives residing in the same town) are asked to come over in advance if they are interested.

'India doesn't need vaccine supply lectures; has exported for humanity': France's Macron

Affirming his faith in India's ability to counter the second deadly COVID-19 wave, France's President Emmanuel Macron expressed solidarity with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the India-EU virtual summit in presence of 26 other EU leaders on Saturday evening. Amid the noise over COVID-19 vaccine shortage and criticism aimed at the Narendra Modi government, Macron asserted that India does not need to be 'lectured from anyone' on vaccine supplies. At the virtual summit attended by Germany's Angela Merkel and the EU president Ursula von der Leyen amongst others, the French President highlighted India's vaccine exports to several countries in the time of the pandemic.

"India does not need to listen to lectures from anyone about vaccine supplies. India has exported a lot for humanity to many countries. We know what situation India is in," the French President said.

Well!! France seems to voice out loud the ultra reality for the world .
now that a white man has spoken, the brown sepoys can pipe it down
