Estimated Capacity of production for Covieshield is 70-100 million doses per month currently but SII is managing to make only 50-60 million doses as of now and saying they will reach 100-120 million by June.

Covaxin production is only 20 million currently per month and will increase to 50 million by June.

Better allow full scale production of Zydus Cadilla one and Sputnik at Dr Reddy's labs in parallel. Also give license to other pharma companies in India to make Covaxin as I don't think SII will share its formula with any other company.

It is already 1st Week of May now. Every one said from 1st week there will be decrease in new cases. Still it will be around 3-3.5 lacs only for few day and by end of second week of May it will go down below and maybe below 2 lacs.

I mean there isn't any point in that, during the 1st lockdown we saw that apart from top cities across the country, in smaller cities infection numbers always play catch up so at best what center can do is to make is broad guidelines that are then to be implemented at the lowest level as per the discretion of the authority in the lower levels.
