Most states use ICMR guidelines of reporting covid possitive deaths as Covid deaths.. whatever the cause..
This Rudaali gang, was saying last year that covid deaths in India were 10x. Mumbai officially had 11,100 covid deaths in 2020. It also had around 20000 more deaths in 2020 than in 2019. Going by Rudaali logic, the excess deaths should have been over 1 lakh, not 20000.. Isolated cases of deliberate under reporting do not translate into a pan India conspiracy..

It is already 1st Week of May now. Every one said from 1st week there will be decrease in new cases. Still it will be around 3-3.5 lacs only for few day and by end of second week of May it will go down below and maybe below 2 lacs.
Now the recovery is increasing so the secular Insta pages and twitter handles are feeling uneasy and started blaming Govt for fake data!

The gap between new cases and recoveries us narrowing down. It was 100000 2 days back now its 68000. If the trend continues the slope of second wave is receding now.

May be they are over stretched or huge backlog..no clues...try booking got a test online

Yup..
GOI Tuesday morning covid infection numbers are always low.. as testing is low on Sunday.. The results are mostly collated until Monday night, and appear as all India statistics on Tuesday morning.. Every Tuesday morning figure is low..
We reached 4 lakh infections when testing was 19.2 lakh per day.. Sunday testing numbers ( GOI Monday morning testing numbers ) were 15 lakh ..

They are definitely over stretched as 2-3 months back we were doing 7-10 lacs test per day and now we are doing anywhere from 13-18 lacs and some day ~20 lac tests per day.

Also, unlike during the first wave, most tests now are RT-PCR as per GOI directives.. RT-PCR tests require a lot more effort than rapid tests..

Same time all 18+ slots for booked till they are avaialble... sheer waste of time and resources waiting for 45+ .. they shud make it open to all 18+ now .. those needing second dose shud be given as walkin with dedicated space...
