1200 LPM Oxygen Generation Plant commissioned at Gandhi Nagar Hospital

Jammu: In pursuance of Lieutenant Governor’s directions regarding augmentation of Oxygen facilities in the hospitals, 1200 LPM Oxygen Generation Plant has been commissioned at the old block of Gandhi Nagar hospital which has been notified as designated Covid hospital.


Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg today inspected the functioning of the newly installed 1200 LPM Oxygen Generation Plant.


The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by ADC (Adm) Satish Sharma, besides CMO, Medical Superintendent, Superintendent Engineer (Mechanical)and other concerned officers.


The Deputy Commissioner took a round of the plant and inquired about its overall functioning. He was appraised that with commissioning of the plant, the hospital has become self-sufficient in meeting the medical oxygen needs and it can cater 92 beds at a time.

A few of the people whom I know who got their second dose..had fever which lasted a few hours or body aches from which they recovered in a day.
well..not all though..just a handful of people who got the second shot..

5 of my relatives (who don't live with us), are positive with extreme symptoms (<88 SpO2). The worst part is we can't even go help them. All members from one of my cousins' family tested positive, one with extreme symptoms. They live in another city, and there's nobody to help them there.

This crisis is breaking the concept of extended family as we know it.

Even if BJP is going to loose, at least Congress isn't going to get in power in 2024 given its declining status like CPI and CPM regardless of situation of BJP. If BJP losses, it will be a khichdi government like happened in Vajpayee row with multiple PMs. INC is going to remain a much smaller factor than it used to be.

I think people themselves and state governments are more at blame...central govt should have errored on caution with UK variant and knowing Indian masses with no hygiene or self-restraint for the most part. Why open theaters, pubs and places that are total spreaders along with rallies and protests and what not? Central's passive attitude is foolish towards states, courts and media....headlines is BJP lost states? BJP did well except in Kerala....if they get this corona under control then they have plenty of time to make people forget...I think once other hotspots develop in the world, attention would be shifted. At this point most people might get it one way or other unfortunately. No system in the world is capable of handling peaks much less India....they did a victory lap too soon.

Yet to be seen how effective these vaccines are against new strains....this is stomach churning to see loved ones pass or suffer and not being there by their side or help in anyway.
