I know several cases where people died at home or waiting outside of hospital. And they have not received any certificate. Now who will count them? Those poor fellas are not even numbers. Learn to criticize when it's necessary and pat them when it's due.

You have no idea how things work. Just nitpicking my post will not help anyone. Certificates are not handed over but people go to birth and death registrar to register the death of the deceased person. The cause of death is mentioned to registration officer which then is put on to register. Anyone who dies in Hospital they do not get death certificate there but a copy of doctor’s concern which the relatives take to the B&D registrar, one copy goes to local police station where they do preliminary inquiry, may speak to the hospital to check if the death is of natural cause or not.

We cnt say if it was uk variant or indian . Most of the cases in delhi ncr is uk variant . atleast 1lakh cases of 617 variant cld be spreading a day . If mortality is double digit then deaths ll be 10k only due to 617 .... so i think its same . Only this yr mutant virus are overcoming our natural immunity and country is not in lock down like last year .

Dude double digit death rate is not something which will not be noticed!
that's 40K to 80K deaths per day, if such death was there then you would see whole neighborhoods getting cleared.
You don't seem to see the no of positive people coming each day.
So many famous people have died doesn't make it even 1% of the population getting infected each day.

He is a business man, he has been changing statements every month since Dec-Jan.
If he wants to expand, he need not give any explanation to anyone since it is a family owned business.
Last month british media ran a campaign against india based on a misquote from him, i am referring to british media saying india stopped deliveries to UK, which turned out to be a fake campaign.

Whilst I share your rage at the manner in which all this is being reported by vested interests in Western and sections of Indian media, I believe there is some truth to the claim around CoviD deaths being underreported. The UK Medical Certification of Cause of Death (MCCD) contains 2 sections where the direct and contributing causes of death are recorded. Anyone dying within 28 days of a CoviD positive result has this cited under contributing causes in the MCCD and therefore counted as a CoviD death, which obviously overestimates the actual numbers.

My understanding (I may be wrong) is that only those patients who test positive at the time of death are classed as CoviD deaths on Indian medical certificates when it's obvious many die from secondary complications when they are no longer CoviD positive. So whilst the doctors can hardly be accused of falsifying death certificates for following protocol, they would most definitely be undercounting genuine CoviD deaths in this case.
