20-25 % of population means close to 23-28 crore vaccinations . so far we had only 16 crore vaccinations done and another 6 crore exported by SII as per its contracts . which still is not such a large number considering just the population above 45 years of age itself 36 crores .

Yes he should be blamed for elections rallies . But were Rallies of Raul baba and communist leaders spreading Chinese virus vaccine immunity ? is only one party rally which spreads virus ? As for vaccination, Probably you don't know that almost 98% of the people who have received the vaccine have have received only a single jab, without a booster second shot the efficacy of the first short will simply fade away.

Whatever the mark up.. the fact remains that China has supplied more medical equipment to India, than any nation. Yes, they sell it for money..But, money in the time of pandemic is secondary.. They also supplied billions of masks and also medical equipment to US during the last surge.. It is only China and their astounding manufacturing capacity that can meet such demand.. Lets acknowledge that..

I have acknowledged that they had supplied 'throw before use' PPE kits to Europe.

It's the police that has to enforce any rules and that's upto states.

The center can do nothing in this regard.

There is a lag of 4-6 weeks between first and second doses, so obviously in the beginning most will only be first doses.

Financial impact is for the people themselves, they thought partying out was more important than their health, so deal with it.

No government can save people from their own stupidity.

One good about i am observing is that 18+ are running to vaccinations centres for the jab.

In Noida, only Max is showing slots for 18+ and they all are all booked till 31 st may ..

Why shouldn't they.. Inspite of the coronavirus originating from China, and China covering up the outbreak, countries like US and India have no option, but to go begging bowl in hand to China ( although not openly acknowledging it) for supplies.. because as it happens, it is only China that can meet the surge demand.. Why should China not openly call us out, for opposing China's aggression on one hand, but time and again go to China with a begging bowl in hand for API supplies and medical supplies.. Why shouldn't China call out our shamelessness.. Will, India double down on self sufficiency.. or like the shameless people we are carry on with the current state of affairs.. and go to China with a begging bowl ( Jaishankar calling Wang yi for supplies) when the next catastrophe strikes India, while being gung ho with "Standing up to China" rhetoric in between health crisis..

i have a feeling that we may soon see skirmishes again at LAC or even a full fledged war with China...

My "pointing" has more to do with my firm belief since day 1 that this is not a "mistaken" spread of the virus the world over. A deliberate or accidental release has been exploited.

When Mr Pravin Sawhney talks about disruptive warfare technologies, what he consistently fails to do is elaborate on what he means by it. He has a vague idea which needs to be articulated by him.

Anyone who has "watched" China has to know that China will never directly enter into a military confrontation. The reason - you can not predict the outcome of a war, nor can you control it. So, you employ "disruptive" means.

You attack decision making process in an adversarial country. You use their tools, legal tools, against them. For democracies, it is the fact that anyone can say/do anything and get away with it if there is a concomitant "narrative", howsoever missing on facts, allowed to gain a toehold in the democratic society. Nothing works like further dividing the decision making as does setting a narrative which appeals to the masses. And the masses, unwittingly, play along.

Why a thrust was made over Markaz to give it a religious angle in the social media? Why there remains a thrust to talk about pollution around the time of Diwali? Why there remains a thrust on Kumbh, Ramzan, today? There may be genuine sentiments of patriotic Indians involved, but they merely add to the divisions that are needed within the society to disable a robust response to an enemies act.

Those who may have read me at times, may recollect that when people talk of Information Warfare, I lay more stress on Information Denial. For a democracy, there needs to be strict regulation on what information gets released in public.
