I live in WB. I am seeing this news in different social media and Whatsapp from today morning. Difficult to ascertain the news. Local patients are not getting beds in hospital.

But the thing is that the oxygen situation in West Bengal is extremely dire, with shortage coupled with blackmarketting that it is very difficult to get oxygen cylinder.

Cylinders are sold in Black market as high as Rs. 60000 each.

I managed to register. Fruitless I say because I stay in Maharashtra, and unless I am willing to undertake a "vaccination trip" to Gujarat, Karnataka or Goa, there is no way to get a vaccine here till the end of May as confirmed by the Health Minister for Vasooli Gang, Rajesh Tope.
