Is there someone , in the know how, who could answer the below queries:-

1) How frequent are mutations for viruses that cause common cold?
2) Are mutations that are occurring in novel corona virus happening at same rate as above (common cold virus)
3) If not & rate for novel corona virus is higher, would that indicate a possible artificial origin?

1) Basically dna viruses dont mutate often as dna is more stable shit but Rna viruses do mutate frequently. Corona chan is rna fag.

2) Its little to do with common cold as rna viruses have high mutation rates—up to a million times higher than their hosts because its replication enzymes are prone to errors.If a particular genetic alteration changes the target of a drug or antibody that acts against the virus, those viral particles with the mutation will outgrow the ones that do not have it.
