Here is some details about the 160 odd PSA O2 plant by HK Rout ( our missile reporter from ITR Chandipur)

Centre fails to set up a single oxygen plant in Odisha

1. Since the plants are fully funded from PM-Cares corpus, the Centre was to select the vendor and execute the project.

2.The State government’s mandate was to provide land and it has already handed over the sites and made all logistic arrangements.

3. Additional Chief Secretary of Health PK Mohapatra said the vendors chosen for Odisha have already completed site inspection.

The procurement will be done by the Central Medical Supply Store (CMSS) – an autonomous body of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Proposal is to let the plant run for producing oxygen only ... see how these protestors are reacting ... sterilite can produce 1050 tons of oxygen per day .. Delhi quota per day is 480 tons .. see what foreign funded ngo and convertion money does to your country .

Below is a court case filed by a loosing party against the award of tender

So, from December to April only 33 have been set up and all others will be setup by May end.

From the document above tender have been awarded to three bidders
in this news report PM cares or central govt is not even mentioned for SMS hospital.

No PM Cares is not providing for SMS Hospital Jaipur.
In the court case listed above, the said vendor become ineligible for PM Cares 162 PSA bid as SMS hospital debarred it for 6 months.
The eligibility criteria for 162 PSA by PM Cares was that a vendor mustn't have be debarred by any agency in India.

As the debarment by SMS hospital was after tender filing of PMCares 162 PSA, so the party approached that the debarment shouldn't be considered and it shouldn't be made ineligible for PMCares 162 PSA tender.

I have appended the above case to provide the accurate date of award of the contract by CMSS for 162 PSA and the number of successful bidders.

Reddy offered that a supplemental oxygen delivery system that the DRDO had developed for soldiers posted at extreme high-altitude areas, could be used for Covid-19 patients, as their medical conditions were similar in both cases. The DRDO expects the product, which is based on SpO2 (Blood Oxygen Saturation), to be available in the market soon.

Developed by a DRDO laboratory called Defence Bio-Engineering and Electro Medical Laboratory (DEBEL), Bengaluru, the system delivers supplemental oxygen based on the SpO2 levels and prevents the person from sinking in to a state of Hypoxia, which is fatal in most cases.

:hmm: looks like bureaucratic failure at every level.

despite winning tender , no plants still functioning in kerala . that too after 7 months.

check tender given out in october here

plants for 8 hospitals in delhi , one of the largest is Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi - total bed capacity is 3000.

the hospital is run by center.

checking the news , hospital still has no oxygen plant .

so who to blame here but center , not to mention state gov only managed to install plant at 1 hospital.

Govt should make a nice presentation on Money collected under PM cares and where it is spent. Also oxygen part and hire some proper agency for distribution without being annoying.

Else give they data to RW folks they will make good pictorial presentation for free or peanuts.

Oxygen Shortage News Blown Out of Proportion by Leftist Liberals Propaganda to Target Modi

Twitter, FB and others remove nearly 100 posts after govt order | India News - Times of India

NEW DELHI: Twitter and other social media platforms have removed about 100 posts and URLs after the government asked them to remove content that was critical of the handling of the current medical crisis or spreading fake news around the pandemic.
Twitter said it has notified the impacted account holders of its action taken in response to a legal request from the Indian government, while Facebook did not comment on the issue.
Meanwhile, government sources said the IT Ministry, on the recommendation of the Ministry of Home Affairs, asked the social media platforms to remove the posts and URLs (uniform resource locators) to "prevent obstructions in the fight against the pandemic” and disruption of public order due to the said posts.
They added that the order was issued in view of the misuse of social media platforms by certain users to spread fake or misleading information and create panic about the pandemic in the society “by using unrelated, old and out of the context images or visuals, communally sensitive posts and misinformation about Covid-19 protocols”.
However, they said it is necessary to take action against those users who are “misusing” social media during this grave humanitarian crisis for unethical purposes.

They also declined to remove many others, much like the last time.
