May be this is happening due to false negatives. My team member from Chennai got a negative result but when he did CT scan the damage was visible.Pune has been in lockdown or pseudo lockdown for 15 days now. Hasnt done anything to put less strain on any resources, nor is the number of infections going down.
The current numbers remain constant as we are at our absolute limits of testing every day, if it increases the number of positive cases will go up.
This person seems to be making a lot of sense. Rampant CT Scans are driving up infection severity.

In the last wave hardly had anyone do CT Scans, In current wave RT-PCR followed by HRCT is being done around here in 99% of the cases.
