My aunt and four in her family had negative RT-PCR reports. She later developed serious covid symptoms and was admitted to ICU and luckily survived thanks to a timely CT scan test which confirmed that she had the virus.

Funny right Hospitals are now acting exactly like Delhi CM trying to tag PM in social media and asking for oxygen as if they don't have any direct links to contact health secretary . Also if there is oxygen shortage in delhi how are Central govt controlled hospitals are managing . These corporate hospitals charge a bomb per day for Chinese virus treatment and they couldn't anticipate the oxygen demand ?

My mind seems to be occupied by a very legitimate query in regards to these private hospitals .
If those , who are being treated there are getting their own oxygen supplies then , may I ask what sort of calamity , are they struck by ?
After all , super rich hospitals charge high amount too for treatment , then why can't they procure oxygen with all their wealth?

I know people here wanted to keep on ranting that GoI failed and was not proactive . Sharing the below PIB release from Jan 5th 2021 , Yes Jan 5th when babaji shampooing his beard busy with farmers protest and bengal elections .

As of 18th April out of these 162 plans 33 have been commissioned so far . 5 in MP , 4 in HP , 3 in GJ, UK and CHD , 2 in BR and KA , 1 in AP, CG, DL, HR,KL,MH,PD,PB and UP

By end of this month another 59 will be commissioned and end of may 80 will be commissioned .

These 162 are installed in govt hospitals only and increase the oxygen capacity by 154 MT

GoI is in sanctioning of another 100 more as per the requirements it receive from state govts

PM CARES Fund Trust allocates Rs.201.58 crores for installation of 162 dedicated PSA Medical Oxygen Generation Plants in public health facilities

The Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund Trust is allocating Rs.201.58 crores for installation of additional 162 dedicated Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Medical Oxygen Generation Plants inside public health facilities in the country.

Ø The total project cost includes Rs.137.33 crores towards supply and commissioning of the plants and Management fee of Central Medical Supply Store (CMSS) and around Rs.64.25 crores towards Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract.

Ø The procurement will be done by the Central Medical Supply Store (CMSS) – an autonomous body of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Ø A total of 162 plants with total capacity of 154.19 MT are to be installed in 32 States/UTs [Annexure-I].

Ø The Govt. hospitals where these plants are to be installed have been identified in consultation with the States/UTs concerned.

Ø The plants have a warranty for first 3 years. For the next 7 years, the project includes CAMC (Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract).

Ø Routine O&M is to be done by the hospitals/States. After the CAMC period, entire O&M will be borne by the hospitals/States.

Ø This mechanism will further strengthen public health system and enable long term systematic augmentation of medical oxygen availability in a cost effective manner. Adequate and uninterrupted supply of oxygen is an essential pre-requisite for managing moderate and severe cases of COVID -19, in addition to various other medical conditions where this need arises. Installation of PSA Oxygen Concentrator Plants in public health facilities is an important step to reduce the health facility’s dependence on the system of store and supply and to enable these facilities to have their own oxygen generation capacity. This will not only increase the total oxygen availability pool of the States/UTs, but also facilitate providing of oxygen support in timely manner to patients in these public health facilities.

Its so funny to see russkies jumping in support of britanistan but if you look at larger picture vaccine business is huge especially in a pandemic which is ravaging whole world . No one wants to leave this once in lifetime opportunity to sell their vaccine even a million dose makes a difference to every manufacturer .

Considering this all factors we have to appreciate our BB Covaxin efforts without money power of Billion $ pharma giants who can unleash their paid propaganda and will be lapped up easily by presstitutes here to defame and deject local manufacturer .

Happy Modi took Covaxin and give that much needed confidence boost to people . Just that BB needs to improve its production capacity now or just license the vaccine to other companies to produce

Such a wonderful virus this has been for the pharma companies.

The vaccine is not what vaccines should be. It did not come from extensive years of research or testing.
No telling what the long terms effect of it would be.
I have never heard of vaccines which protect against specific strains of one type of virus. It does not deserve to be called a vaccine.

There a lots of tidbits like this. But center/BJP has extremely pathetic communication strategy. They shoud have in a time bound manner taken up the status of the funds utilization by these states publicly via social media. BJP IT cell & coordination teams of central Gov (if such a thing exists) should have been up in arms constantly hammering states.
