couple of queries -
1. Will central govt continue to procure covishield from SII at 150/- per shot? Reports seem to suggest contract has not been extended and re-negotiations are on between baba and SII, with SII saying to continuing the 150/- deal.
2. IF answer to above is SII deal with center continues at 150 till 30% national target is reached, then why state gormints are asked to fork out 400/- per shot. Either it shud be in line with central deal or each state gormint shud be allowed to negotiate with SII for a lower price. I feel the price of 600/- is too low for sale to priv hospitals. 600/- should be increased while 400/- should be decreased.

Well off ppl like us can talk idealistic like that... step into the shoes of those poor UP /bihari guys going home empty handed and think how subsidised / free vaccines are god-sent for them.

I will go to priv hospital even if they charge me 1000/- per shot for my whole extended family, coz i can afford it. not the case with a large section of our wretched population.

I have been thinking of this since morning and for some strange reason did not felt any feeling of sadness for him . may be because of his politician father. each politician who played politics and who dies due to same covid gives me a saddist pleasure...

Apologies , i know people might consider me saddist but i have no remorse per se with my words... my heart only goes to those who are seeing their near ones die due to lack heath care facilities..
