No sir, contrary to your opinion most brahmans do not eat Non-Veg. Not till long ago, they were not even using onions and garlic in food at home.
My closest school friend who was Brahman and not Pandit, had everything made at home with any Onion and garlic even till 5-6 yrs back (after that I have not been able to have food at his home).
taste of food at his home could beat any big restaurant of the city and mind it is Noida the most urban and hip city of UP.

1 lady worker in our factory is saying that her sister-in-law's daughter is getting married on 23rd April and she is will go to her hometown in Bihar today. She is adamant on going (shaadi ka khana miss nahi kar sakti!).
Everything we told her about the current situation in Anand Vihar (Bus Terminal in Delhi) and in Delhi and UP-Bihar, fell on deaf ears, Shaadi to miss nahi kar te na! (Corona ke chakkar mai shaadi cancel karde! Ram Ram Ram, Pagla gye kya babuji!)
Kya kare in logo ka! They are ready to die but they wont miss the wedding function and free food there! and also not ready to scale down the marriage function, reduce the invitees list.

Latest Update: Even after trying to convince her, lady left for hometown 5 min back. She is also probably taking her whole family (a son, husband, niece) from here to her hometown.

I many times wonder about the close damn packed colonies culture of Indian cities. China has 99% of its population in similar land area as India but the cities even old and poor one are not organized like here, they have ample space between houses and streets are wider.
Dont know why Indian cities evolved like this!
Also never understood the obsession with Mircha, Onions and namkeen in food in Rajasthan, MP, Maha (Konkani).

However my concern is for the colonies, where the Balconies of opposite facing buildings are almost touching each other. The road between buildings are not even 2 mtr at many points.
