I agree. Just look at the worldometers stats. We are logging double / 2X new cases and new deaths on daily basis compared to US/BRA numbers. And this is just the documented numbers, while the actual numbers could be doubt of that.

these no doesn't matters at all. No country is doing tests on scale of US & India. Therefore they wont report high no cases.
We have made it too big a deal, if you count all actual infections then the mortaility rate will go down to really low no. Most of the people recover easily at home that they dont even need tests.

in EU during the April May, National Health agency told people to not go for test unless the oxygen less drop too low and health deteriorate. A large section of society simply did not get tested. how are you going to factor in these untested people!

Sero tests in Milan shows that more than 7 lac people had antibodies in that city itself. Scale this to whole country level, you will find upto 60% people already having antibodies now.
Sero tests in Delhi showed upto 23% people already having antibodies in July itself. In Kolkata it was expected 2 million people having antibodies based on limited testing during July.

Comparing these no is now meaningless, most of the people will get infected and our bodies will build resistance and this virus will become flu like virus in coming years same as other Corona Virus family members.

The Russian Fl pandemic of late 1890s was found to be from Corona virus family only. That virus turned into cold n flu causing virus by 1910s and 1920s.
