Every state is seenig spike in cases due to people coming in from Maharashtra...Shit hit a peak of 7111 inections yesterday with Mah alone contributing almost 40 % of these 7111..

Another state which is ticking bomb is west Bengal & Dehi IMO .. both are under stating numbers by huge margin....Atleast in delhi, People are calling helplines but no body is doing anything....and govt is advising people to sit at home and take medicines if positive...

In Delhi only 30% of CoViD patients are hospitalised. Rest are either in care centers or in home isolation because of no to very mild symptoms.

Couple of things would forever remain a mystery to me - our own (a developing country with poor civic/hygiene/public health infrastructure) low death counts and Japan's (a developed country with excellent public infra) non-observance of lockdown and still escaping relatively unscathed from covid19.

Did Japan just beat the coronavirus without lockdowns or mass testing?

Maybe attributable to some degree of natural immunity (influenced by mandatory vaccination schemes/diet/constant exposure to pathogens in daily life/etc) ?

May 21 : Total tested 103532 Positive Cases 5609
May 22 : Total tested 103514 Positive Cases 6088
May 23 : Total tested 115364 Positive Cases 6654
May 24 : Total tested 108623 Positive Cases 6767
May 25 : Total tested 90170 Positive Cases 6977

If we compare May 23 vs May 25 Test was 25000 less but positive cases jumped by 300 more.

Which shows the virus spread is now wide compared to first week of May

I think this is all thanks to migrant movement from MH, DL and GJ to other states

Sadly it's MH and people travelling from MH are now the major carriers of this virus , Karnataka had almost 80 % cases from MH returned people in last two days , Funny even kerala now reporting positive cases of people returned from MH .

CT: Govt knows very high % of those infected are asymptomatic and is the reason why they have started to reopen country. They are not telling us so we don't become complacent.

May be most of these are getting infected in the travel from those destinations . are they caught the infection just before start of travel . they may be asymptomatic on the day tested but symptoms would have developed on after few days .

Greater amount is supposed to spread with greater hits as well. So, yes even controlling there is a good deal.
