Not sure if this comm is authenticated. But shouldn't be surprising. World has allowed this space to be captured by Chinese companies, still we do not have many media giants that can make significant difference. That day may not be too far though. Having said that, TikTok is not the only platform whose content policy can be accused of bias. You have that from every major SM company today, Facebook, Twitter etc.

And let's face it. China was able to hide the information of Corona virus severity for 30-60 days easily from entire world. China sure does have sophisticated methods to control information much beyond its borders. TikTok is just drop in an ocean.

There are some heart-breaking RAW videos circulating showing migrants lying dead by the wayside with children crawling around. Couldn't watch beyond a couple of seconds. I had to stop watching.

Made me pause and recollect 9/11 and the 'jumpers'. What made them 'jump' from such heights?
And what made these poor sods 'walk' unimaginable distances?
Were both these sets of people insane? No. They saw no alternative.
For the 'jumpers' gormint couldn't do anything.
For the 'walkers', gormint could have done a lot and it failed miserably.

We are a nation of big statues and small hearts.
