But then again, the number of deaths due to COVID-19 will still be marginal compared to the average number of deaths we have per year.

In any case, the calculus is depressing. Nothing is guaranteed before the vaccine.

Temperature is rising, lets hope we have some concrete solution in few months. Although there is no guarantee, it's better to move to place with warmer climate before winter.

Spanish Flu had a terrible second wave in late autumn and winter. The second wave did most damage.

Btw, temperature up north have been uncharacteristically low for May. No running away from it I guess. :|

I am afraid we are going to look at a lot of people & refer them as part of statistics. Real devastation is going to be economic nature as a aftermath. Not sure if anyone will keep tab on those numbers.

You in Delhi or Japan ? Mumbai is getting hot, other parts of MH are clocking 40+ degrees. South India may sail better. To be honest, I don't think anyone has figured out science of this pandemic. Its all going to be in hindsight.

I am not hearing stories that TS is showing less numbers because they also stopped testing many cases and reduced the testing numbers .

TN reported its highest 771 cases yesterday that central vegetable market has become super spreader . My relatives neighbour got tested yesterday and his entire street now has been sealed .

The only state which had controlled the spread to an extent so far looks Odisha .Not sure how badly that will change once the migrant returning back from other states reach the state .

WTF is going on at TOI? It's become worse than TOIlet paper! No checks are being done. Doesn't seem proof reading is their forte. They even term terrorists as 'militants' and 'alleged' terrorists!! 👹 Jeeeez!

I've stopped reading this shitty tabloid which is full of fake news. Their editors who are having a ball with fat pay packets need to be sacked!
