Is anyone aware of the news being spread that migrant labourers are being charged money for travelling back to their home states on special trains by the railways?

Central teams being deployed to districts with highest number of COVID19 cases



As many as twenty (20) Central Public Health Teams from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare have been formed and are being sent to the 20 districts that are reporting the maximum number of COVID-19 cases in the country. These districts are:


1. Mumbai, Maharashtra


2. Ahmedabad, Gujarat


3. Delhi (South East)


4. Indore, Madhya Pradesh


5. Pune, Maharashtra


6. Jaipur, Rajasthan


7. Thane, Maharashtra


8. Surat, Gujarat


9. Chennai, Tamil Nadu


10. Hyderabad, Telangana


11. Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh


12. Jodhpur, Rajasthan


13. Delhi (Central)


14. Agra, Uttar Pradesh


15. Kolkata, West Bengal


16. Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh

An Indian ayurvedic drug is being tried on coronavirus patients in Mysore

• • An ayurvedic drug called ZingiVir-H has been approved for conducting clinical trials on coronavirus patients in India by the Clinical Trial Registry of India (CTRI).
  • The sample size of the study is 112 patients with 15 Covid-19 positive patients already enrolled.
  • Hareendran Nair, the founder of the Pankajaksthuri Herbal Research Foundation in Kerala where the drug was developed, believes the results of trials will be available by the end of May.

First day of going to office i felt like almost going to war . every move was like i am stepping on landmine especially when you have colleagues who still sit next to you and cough . Social distancing gaya ganga mein at lunch time

One observation from work today , This migrant labour crisis is going to hit very hard for most business centres , Out of 4200 labourers in our site camp just 280 turned up to work , When we asked the rest 3100 wants to go back to their natives , This is after giving them food for month and even money , All they are saying is their parents and family members are worried about their health and safety and asking them to return back to their native villages .

The fear is palpable in their minds . If they go now at least 5 months of business activity for my company will come to grinding halt .

This is going to spiral down into huge crisis in coming weeks for economic revival

What I gather from news:
Indian Railway is footing 85% bill.
States are footing 15% bill.
No tickets are being sold, so no question of charging by railway.

Is this all a big fake news racket by Congis?
