WHO map shows Ladakh’s Aksai Chin as part of China

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has reportedly shown parts of Ladakh as Chinese territory. The health organisation’s website shows the Aksai Chin region as a part of China with a dotted line and colour code. Furthermore, the WHO map also marks Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) with dotted lines, suggesting it as a disputed territory. Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and the rest of India are marked in different colour codes. While several United Nations (UN) maps have shown parts of Kashmir as ‘disputed’ territory in the past, this is probably the first time that Ladakh and J&K are shown in different colour codes than the rest of India. Gautam Bambawale, India’s former envoy to China, Pakistan and Bhutan told The Economic Times (ET), “The map of India depicted by WHO differs from the standard depiction even of the United Nations itself, by not showing parts of J&K which are under actual control of India as a part of our country.” He further added that the different colour coding for JnK and Ladakh from the rest of India in the WHO map is “strange, incorrect, and surprising.” In one such previous instance, China recently included parts of Arunachal Pradesh — which it calls a part of South Tibet — within its international boundaries, according to an updated version of the Sky Map.

😀😊😀😀😂😂😜😜😜

Thank for raising this, trust me being a marketer in pharma. I used to cover india (Gully ,kopcha)as our compulsory field stint with sales team .During this tenure three things I observed ,if not corrected ,we are not going anywhere but will remain shit hole 3rd world country.
1> 90% of mozlem hate this country and hindus to core regardless of ganga jamuna tejzeeb. They will start rioting if India goes to war with any islamic country.
2> They are filthy and love to remain filthy , visited many slums where we used to get lot of buiness of orindazole oflaxacin combination thanks to them. While hindus majority slums much more clean in contrast.
3>Govt need to check ,how muzlims are living in slums and dark corners of urban and semi urban areas. They are frustrated while love to show daredevil stunts to prove themselves worth. For them no police can reach their area of work while govt authorites can't ask them anything as this against there ego.
Thanks for this,
I want to know where you saw those leftovers I mean ten percent, I guess we can go somewhere with them for this country.
Short to say they can helpful.
Can you point it more exhaustively.
I want to know the whole story of those ten percents.

Its basically to reduce the chances of virus spreading once lock-down is lifted . same is issued for schools to most schools won't open till July end . IT companies even if they make 30 % of their workforce WFH will bring lots of reduction in burden on keeping workplace with social distancing rules , Plus less number of people in public transport too . Also less number of them in caffeteria at lunch hours . IT offices all being closed ones with A/c and zero sunlight penetration are breeding ground for virus spread especially someone sneezes without mask on .

I think IT workspace has evolved its not anymore like 2010 today most software can be uploaded in cloud like Citrix and with better 4G connections and good laptop people can do their work from home rather visiting office space .

Yeah work can be done to some point I guess. But most of the work will be throttled. In a nutshell, nothing will get done efficiently. So, if the companies want they can loose some extra weight.:p

Donno about current calculations, but 10 years ago IBM & Satyam were giving 8000 Rs per month to employees willing to work from home, they were saving 24000 per employee per month by doing that.

employees WFH is profitable for indian IT companies, now even travel expenses are going to be saved.

But issue during these days is going to be billing, will clients be willing to pay if they themselves are earning money?

Well as of now it's going to be huge benefits for IT companies. Workload while working from home double compared to in Office. Not just me but my entire family and friends are saying same. They are asking for work every time. For many guys office used to be a 10 hrs job including office traffic you get while going and coming back from office, and during office hrs also it was quite relaxing. Now guys are having 10-11 hrs screen time. Client who wanted very secure environment and were asking on premise solutions have also allowed working from home and in some cases on personal laptops too. So IT companies are getting benefits from both sides.

True everything can be uploaded to the cloud. But that doesn't mean all companies allow that. And even if they do a further larger sync and co-ordination is needed. Getting a job done and getting it done efficiently aren't the same things.

It's true for working part; but job security has taken a hit in IT. Projects pipeline has dried up for Europe and American region which has led to major resource optimization exercises in IT service companies. People on bench are given notices to take leave without pay and others with lower work-load are being shifted to bench. Mass Firing is being avoided as it would give bad PR to companies in such a tough times. May be, same is not true for Product based companies but definitely for Service companies (like Infy, Cognizant, Acccenture etc.), employees are facing the brunt of Covid.
I feel after a quarter or so, when world-wide consumption would start ticking up and there will be re-think over better IT enabled logistics and supply chain solutions that will make visiting any store, mall etc absolutely unnecessary, that probably may revive the IT services sector with more hiring and raises in salaries.

India is discussing with China, Russia, Brazil and South Africa, to set up a BRICS Vaccine Research and Development Centre, as the COVID-19 pandemic has apparently brought cooperation in the healthcare sector to the top of the agenda of the five-nation bloc.

The process to set up the BRICS Vaccine Research and Development Centre is likely to gain momentum on Tuesday, when External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will hold a video-conference with his Russian, Chinese, Brazilian and South African counterparts. They will also discuss another proposal to hold drills, not among the armed forces of the five nations, but among the respective national agencies responsible for responding to the epidemics.

Jaishankar and the Foreign Ministers of the four other nations will also work out a BRICS strategy to respond to the huge social and economic impact of the travel and transport restrictions as well as the lockdowns imposed in most of the nations around the world to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. It was during the BRICS summit hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Goa in October 2016 that the leaders of the five nations stressed on “cooperation in promoting research and development of medicines and diagnostic tools to end epidemics and to facilitate access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines”.

The BRICS summit at Xiamen in September 2017 saw Modi and the leaders of the four other nations agreeing that the bloc would step up its role in global health governance, especially in the context of the World Health Organization and United Nations agencies. They also agreed to ensure “availability of innovative medical products through the promotion of research and development and access to affordable, quality, effective and safe drugs, vaccines, diagnostics and other medical products and technologies as well as to medical services through enhanced health systems and health financing.”

The proposal of setting up a BRICS Vaccine Research and Development Centre was mooted and endorsed in the bloc’s 10th summit in Johannesburg in South Africa in July 2018. It, however, did not see much progress on the ground over the past couple of years. As the COVID-19 pandemic underscored the need for stepping up international cooperation in the healthcare sector, the process of setting up the BRICS Vaccine Research and Development Centre is expected to gain momentum in the coming months, a source in New Delhi told the DH on Monday. The BRICS Foreign Ministers are also likely to discuss during the video-conference on Tuesday preparations for the forthcoming summit, which is scheduled to be held at Saint Petersburg in Russia from July 21 to 23, but has now come under a shadow of uncertainty due to the COVID-19 crisis. The diplomats of the five nations are also discussing the possibility of holding the summit through video-conference if the crisis continues beyond June.

It just observation while we used to wait outside doctors clinic. 10% good guys doesn't mean they are living in some cleaner or dirty area etc etc.You can't judge people based on looks ,you come to know thr motive after spending considerable time. Many pharma companies deliberately hire muzlims to operate in these areas because Docs prefer muslim Medical Reps only also adjacent chemist only provide prescription flow information to their biradri only.

Man, that prescription flow to their biradri only is not good thing, also now I think doctors can be great guys here to find out good guys.

Take at most precautions. Don't believe in Green or other zoning. We don't know anything about this Virus. Yesterday, a sudden case popped-up in Green Zone district i.e Bareilly and Pilibhit. So, no one knows about extent of its spread. Better take precautions then be sorry.
