Eyewitnesses said nearly 500 people started queuing up immediately after the shop owner opened the shop. The queue was so long that it stretched from Dr B C Roy Children’s Hospital to Phoolbagan Metro station, almost one kilometer stretch, and Gurudas Halt bridge on the other side.

“When I came to the spot, I saw more than 500 people standing in the row. Police came immediately and dispersed the mob. As police tried to send the people back home, clash broke out since all of them were eager to buy liquor,” Sanat Ray, a local resident, said.


This useless struggle is called "udta teer g**nd mein lena". Absolute waste of time, effort and money.

Since this coronasura attacked, doctors and medical staff were suddenly placed on an elevated pedestral like soldiers.

Let me tell you the inside story. Two dozen physicians in my extended family..

In recent times, medical community had become highly unethical promoting pharma companies for commissions, prescribing twice the number of recommended medicines to meet sales targets while ignoring cheap generic drugs that can't be used to mint money, forcing patients to undergo tests and treatments they don't even require just to squeeze more money out of them while never letting go any opportunity to misuse medical insurance.

This problem is widespread all over India, you will be shocked to see the kind of costly gifts doctors receive from pharma lobby.

I can't even count the number of foreign trips my hospital owning doctor uncle has taken, all paid for by the pharma company agents as incentives for meeting sales targets.

11 lakh doctors practicing in India today, how many are currently treating the 11K corona patients, less than 2-4k.

Majority of rest of them are sitting without work nowadays!!!

Most of the private hospitals and clinics are almost empty. People are not visiting out of fear of getting infected by coronasura except for emergency and unavoidable issues like child birth.

Number of viral and bacterial infections/diseases from other causes have dropped by more than 50-80% as everyone is staying home.

Injuries/accidents down to almost zero.

Daily, Number of people who would have otherwise died from other causes and are now surviving FAR EXCEEDS the number of Indians who have died from this pandemic till date.

Thousands of clinics / small hospitals around the country shut or suspended operations as no patients are coming.

Most of these so called 'corona warriors' are sitting at home nowadays just like everyone else unable to meet their 'sales targets' anymore...

This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Covid-19 is new but it's from the corona family of viruses that have existed for long and includes influenza.

Why no permanent vaccine for influenza after all these decades and people are forced to take immune compromising flu shots every year?

It is because corona virus are known for mutating continuously. Hence, any talk of permanent vaccine for covid-19 is pointless.
It will mutate again within months and a new strain may emerge which will require a new vaccine dose similar to annual flu shot, even then there can be many undetected strains, hence, vaccine won't guarantee protection for everyone.

Our best bet is to find and implement an effective treatment like HCQS or any other that kills the FEAR and reduces covid-19 to any regular treatable and curable dis-ease. Then, Life can return to Normal Again..

Trust me, that won't happen either. They will say India did not test enough or hid the deaths or migrants suffered bla bla bla. They will never grant India even a small victory. This is not about politics, it's innate racist hatred.

I also think that it’s too early to blue the victory conch. Nobody knows what’s in store. We need to be very lucky, we have had some so far going our way and some bad luck too with the TJ but this is far from over. No point going to that place yet.
