Nothing at all. In fact I would like the highest level of our government to acknowledge and call the virus by its origin name. That's not what they are doing though. Instead Delhi is using this for diplomatic quid quo pro. Nothing wrong with that, but I would still like to see an official acknowledgement of the origin of the virus.
Government officials actually have given sufficient statements, though they are mild as India doesn't need to be verbally violent.

A couple of low end leaders and journos like Palki Sharma are good enough for now. Government can be flexible per interest later instead of taking a straightforward stance.
My remark wasn't about denigrating this particular man but rather about stating the irony. Often the lower shelf leaders of BJP lands them in trouble in matters of domestic politics, but here they are being used to say things the Delhi can't/won't say officially at the highest level of international polittics.
All good. Just mention of their loudmouth statements drew you a bit out of context.:)

‘China’s loss in manufacturing could be India’s gain’ - Times of India

MUMBAI: As the world grapples with the unprecedented challenge of Covid-19, business leaders and management thinkers are helping navigate the crisis and plan for the future.
At a webinar by Harvard Business School (HBS) and Harvard Business Publishing, members of the HBS faculty and India Inc executives brainstormed on economic uncertainties resulting from the pandemic and the opportunities for countries like India.

Ww will have to ensure that INDIA actually gains..
and china will do everything to stop it and keep the business.. that means using the jihadi assets inside India to delay our progress..

With govt's new portal on the way, all HCQ info may just be a click away

The government is set to launch a portal that will guide users of hydroxychloroquine — one of the drugs being tried for treating Covid-19 patients — to the nearest pharmacy that has it in stock, people in the know told ET.

The move will likely ease the worries of thousands of Indians who have been prescribed the drug for certain ailments — including malaria and autoimmune disorders like rheumatoid arthritis and lupus — but are facing difficulty in getting it after India lifted a ban on its export last week.

India’s drug pricing regulator, National Pharmaceuticals Pricing Authority (NPPA), has asked all druggists and chemists in the country to start putting in details on the portal, which is likely to be named Covid-med.

To start with, details of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin will be put in and later it may be expanded to other medicines. “Those who need hydroxychloroquine will find it easier to know the available stock and where is it available at the click of the mouse,” said a senior official who is aware of the development. The data on availability will be updated every day, the official said, adding that the information will be available district-wise.

“The objective is to make sure that the drug is available to those who need it. The IT platform will monitor availability of the drug at all distribution channels i.e. C&F agents, depot, distributors, wholesalers and retailers,” said another official.

Joint drug controller S Eswara Reddy has sent out a notice to all drug sale licence holders to register on the platform.

NPPA chairperson Shubhra Singh told ET that India has “enough stock of API and manufacturing capacity of HCQ formulation to meet country’s requirement as well as export demands.” A team led by India’s drug pricing regulator is reviewing the available stocks on a daily basis and will cater to export demands only after satisfying domestic consumption, Singh said.

The worst part in Bengal is the media. When you open TV at any point of time. You will see that the tv anchor is taking an interview of a doctor. Now, you guys may ask me that 'what's wrong with that?'

People should listen to doctors at a time like this. But these doctors rather than talking about social distancing or talking about how to prevent the virus, they are just busy fear mongering. You guys know how? Every time I open the TV I see a doctor saying the country should be lockdown for three months or so and if its not possible than a continuous 59 day lockdown should happen.

According to them as I heard today if the Govt withdraws the lockdown on 1 May, we will see an exponential growth in cases within 15 May. I mean if its so bad then why are you guys present in the society?

A “DIGITAL IDENTITY” is planned for EVERYONE on the planet, delivered via mandatory vaccinations. This “need” was identified by the World Bank and World Economic Forum as part of the realisation of the UN’s #Agenda21 ‘Sustainable Development Goals’.

Bill Gates mentioned multiple times that social distancing should continue and people allowed back in society/jobs/workplace only once they can show proof of vaccination.

Are you ready for #ID2020?

Dimran Khan managed to find some time from tweeting against Modi, Hindutva and RSS to finally beg the global institutions for some money.

A common tactic this drug junkie Wazir-e-Azam of Terroristan uses to shift the failure of Pakistan in handling the pandemic is to use the term 'developing' countries when begging so as to somehow imply India is in it too and to give an impression that it isn't just for Pakistan.
