U.S. agencies back revoking ability of China Telecom to operate in U.S.
The U.S. Justice Department and other federal agencies on Thursday called on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to revoke China Telecom (Americas) Corp's authorization to provide international telecommunications services to and from the United States.

WASHINGTON: The U.S. Justice Department and other federal agencies on Thursday called on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to revoke China Telecom (Americas) Corp's authorization to provide international telecommunications services to and from the United States.

China Telecom is the U.S. subsidiary of a People's Republic of China (PRC) state-owned telecommunications company. Last year, two U.S. senators asked the FCC to review approvals of China Telecom and China Unicom to operate in the United States.

The FCC last May voted unanimously to deny another state-owned Chinese telecommunications company, China Mobile Ltd , the right to provide services in the United States, citing risks that the Chinese government could use the approval to conduct espionage against the U.S. government, It said then that it was "looking" at the licenses of China Telecom and China Unicom.

Movement of corona suspects from Nepal to India: Intel

New Delhi, April 10 (IANS) Suspected Coronavirus positive Indian Muslim nationals are being pushed from Nepal to India, the intelligence wing of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), a paramilitary force, has said, alerting the government and security agencies.

SSB, under Ministry of Home Affairs, guards the 2450 km long Indo-Nepal and Indo- Bhutan border and is spread along the International border across Uttarakhand, UP, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

The intelligence wing of the force alerted District Magistrate of Bihar''s West Champaran district and Superintendent of Police of Bettiah on April 3. The force stated there is an input regarding movement of suspected Corona positive Indian Muslim nationals from Nepal to India.

The SSB top officers have stated that the letter was issued to the local authorities.

IANS reviewed the missive addressed to District Magistrate of Bihar''s West Champaran district. It stated, "Input received from very reliable sources that one person named Jalim Mukhiya, resident of Jagannathpur under Serwa police station in Parsa district in Nepal, is planning to spread Corona pandemic in India."

The letter pointed that the accused is involved in smuggling of arms and fake Indian currency notes from Nepal to India.

The intelligence sleuths alerted that Mukhiya has taken responsibility to cross Indian Muslim nationals working in different Muslim countries during the lockdown.

"As per sources, around 200 Indian Muslim nationals (working in Muslim countries) along with five to six Pakistani nationals have arrived in Nepal via Kathmandu and presently residing in mosque/madarsas at villages Chandanbasra and Khairwa in Nepal," the letter stated.

It further said that around 40 to 50 more suspected Indian Muslim nationals would arrive on April 4 and more in next coming days. "As per sources these nationals were consuming paracetamol tablets for lowering temperature on the way and they may be corona positive," it stated.

The intelligence sleuths asked the local authorities to alert the concerned agencies and also the counterpart district authorities in Nepal.

Guarding the border, SSB said that they are maintaining tight vigil in order to avoid any infiltration into India during the lockdown. The force also stated that the borders have been sealed and they are keeping utmost vigil.

I am a lurker on this knowledgeable forum and mainly enjoy reading the posts but here I must reply. I am a Sikh but die Hard Hindutva Supporter because for me the Indigenous culture of this land, of which Sikhism is a part, must reign supreme to any expansionist destructive foreign ideologies like Islam.

The Islamists and Hindu Liberals want all minorities to join hands with them to launch a United Front against the Rise of Hindutva. We are constantly being warned that once BJP/RSS is done with the Muslims, Sikhs will be next on the firing line which is absurd because Sikhism and Hinduism are not opposite ideologies who have been fighting for centuries and destroying each other to gain followers. Destroying cultures and converting people is not the central to any Indian Religions. Thus I must ask Right wing Hindus to be cautious about what they say about other minorities and instead take them into confidence. The Islamists want to prove to the World that Hindutva is the main problem against all minorities and seek our support for timebeing but we need to be united to show that its Islam v/s everyone which is the real problem.

Man with COVID-19 booked for hiding travel history

A man, who tested positive for COVID-19, was booked for hiding his travel history after allegedly attending the Tablighi Jamaat congregation in Delhi last month. In consequence, his village, Deenpur, in Najafgarh has been declared a containment zone.

Since the issue of religious congregation at Nizamuddin came to light, district police has been tracing people who attended the event. It was then found that five people from the area had attended the gathering following which several people, including the man, were asked to home quarantine.

Three Covid -19 positive returnees from the Tablighi Jamaat congregation held in Delhi's Nizamuddin area last month, who are admitted at the Coronavirus ward of a Kanpur hospital, are now begging doctors to save their lives, as per a report by Dainik Bhaskar.

A Navbharat Times report adds that the Tablighi members were not cooperating with the doctors and the medical staff, which included refusing to take medicines on time. They had even allegedly spat on and abused doctors.

Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism are all sister ideologies that emerged from Bharat from the same sanatani line of thought. We have always peacefully coexisted and shall continued to do so, including Zoroastrianism.

This is because Sanatan dharma is like an Open Source Religion, there is no fixed way of doing things, no fixed path to enlightenment.

It truly embraces TMTWOTDI, there is always more than one way to do it!

It's the 3 Abrahamic ideologies that originated in the middle East that didn't learn to coexist either with others or among themselves.

This is because they are proprietary religions with fixed way of doing things, fixed paths to God and intolerant to anyone espousing a different belief system.

Hence, they always been in a state of perpetual spiritual warfare.

Peaceful coexistence is possible with Xs once the coercive conversions stop. But peace with pissfuls will be the biggest challenge unless serious reforms are implemented in the community.
