I just heard from one of the hospital owner that it is not working in most of the cases. Rest I am not an expert so I will stay away on this.

Iceland Awaits 50,000 Precious Packages

India is the largest manufacturer of Hydroxychloroquine, the export of which the country has now banned, so that it can be used within their borders. Alvogen feared a ban would be imposed on the export of Chloroquine as well, making the drug next to impossible to access.

The day the order was ready for shipment, March 24, a curfew was imposed in India on a four-hour notice. With the help of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Indian Embassy in Iceland, and the ambassador, the shipment is on its way to Iceland and is expected to arrive this weekend.

“It was a matter of great importance to bring this to the country,” states Guðrún Ýr Gunnarsdóttir, sales manager for Alvogen in Iceland. Securing the order took the company about two weeks.

New Delhi, April 6: The government has decided to relax export curbs on 24 pharma ingredients and medicines, including vitamin B1 and B12, an official source said on Monday.

But export restrictions on paracetamol and formulations made of paracetamol would remain, the source told PTI. A notification relaxing export norms would be issued very soon, the source said.

I have an uncle who was at one time the second biggest business giver to a government company. And guess what ? The stincky babus thought that my uncle was making money because of the company ,so they wanted him to lick their boots which he obviously did not as he established that brand in United AP.

Result is ,he started his own manufacturing plant and brand ,the business of the sarkari company in Telangana has become 1/50 and my uncle has eaten away all the customers of that company because he made those customers based on his hard work and good will.
The tragedy is the lower rung of officers of that sarkari company is still not bothered while the higher officials are still unable to comprehend what hit them ?

Reality is that it is for those bastards (employees) that those PSU are fucked( big time) best current examples are BSNL and MTNL. My district used to have 16 sugar mills all of them closed due to those baboons and hundreds of crores were lost my family lost 70 lakh in sugarcane dues

But as per govt website updated today 9 am its showing only 4421 cases, 114 deaths and 326 recoveries

There is no way any organisation other than ministry of health & ICMR have correct numbers, especially some NGO.

It might be yesterday’s confirmed numbers + rate of growth, which is not the actual numbers.

Opposition attacks Modi govt for cancelling MPLADS fund, Congress, TMC, Left criticise decision to divert Rs 7900 crores for coronavirus fight

The decision of the Central Government to suspend the MPLADS (Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme) funds for 2 years and divert a total of Rs 7,900 crores to the Consolidated Fund of India, in the wake of the Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak, has drawn the ire of the Indian National Congress, Trinamool Congress, and other Opposition parties, as per a Times of India report.

Under the MPLADS scheme, a total of Rs 5 crores is provided to the Members of the Parliament to suggest development work to the district collector in their respective constituencies. The scheme was formulated in December 1993 and is monitored by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation since 1994.

The government will thus save a total of Rs10 crores per MP for 2 years. As such, a total of Rs7900 crores from the 545 Lok Sabha and 245 Rajya Sabha members can be diverted to the Consolidated Fund of India. But, the Opposition was clearly not impressed.

No more swanky SUVs and home improvements costing crores and no more cash to fill party coffers from their MPLAD funds! (Though the funds go through the collectors, there are upmteen ways for misappropriation for which these boneheads are experts at!)

This decision must have hurt real bad! No wonder the opposition is pissed off! Lol!
