Why was male police not helping.
These are not the times to follow protocol
Because the police also is a human. Aaj Corona ke mahol me social media pe log usse support kar denge, kal ko women's commission wale pink slip bhej ke ghar bitha denge tabh uski family ko khilane kaun aage ayega?

This determination is not for the police to make ad hoc in josh. If the administration is serious, let them come out and issue a written directive that male officers can enforce law and order for female miscreants, at least during the lockdown. It's the administrations job to build consensus with the women's cell of their respective parties, spokespersons, labor ministry, woman and child development ministry so that the police has a legal immunity for what he is doing, just like we have given AFSPA to the army.

During this lockdown so many women were quarreling, grabbing and spitting on police across several states. Not a single police broke the gender protocol and not a single local administration issued directives for the same. So the administration is clear that it is willing to take some attrition of its forces but it will not amend the norms for policing. The police have sensed it, so they don't take risks and stick to the safety of reddening only male bums.

ICJ moves UNHRC against China for Covid-19 reparations | India News - Times of India
CHENNAI: The International Council of Jurists (ICJ), headquartered in London, has moved the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) seeking unspecified amount as reparations from China for having caused “serious physical, psychological, economic and social harm” to member-nations by unleashing Covid-19 on the world.
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com...covid-19-reparations/articleshow/74965784.cms

why is this irresponsible nation china still in UNSC?
a shameless china even blocking a move to discuss china virus at UN?..trying to run away than take responsiblity like a leader or simply cooperate in such global crisis..

yaaak thoooooo!!
that itself shows how irresponsible and insecure china is amongst the world nations.

Mega cash transfer in battle Covid-19
TNN | Apr 4, 2020, 03:24 IST
TNN
Women maintaing safe distance collect ration from a government depot during the coronavirus lockdown in Beawar (PTI photo)
NEW DELHI/MUMBAI: The government on Friday launched one of the largest-ever

cash transfer
schemes, including the deposit of over Rs 30,000 crore into the account of woman
Jan Dhan account holders as well as Rs 5,000 crore into the linked accounts of eight crore poor households with LPG connections provided under ‘Ujjwala’.

On Day 1 of the PM Jan Dhan transfer scheme, Rs 500 was deposited into the accounts of 4 crore women, with the government ordering banks to ensure that the dormant accounts were reactivated to ensure that no beneficiary was left out. The mega exercise, which will see deposits based on the last digit of the account number, saw several thousand account holders visit their bank branches and nearest ATMs, although business correspondents have been pressed into service to ensure door-step delivery of benefits. All accounts are to get the funds by April 9.

While banks said they had made all the arrangements for orderly withdrawal, there were instances of overcrowding. Some branches also faced pressure because it coincided with pensioners coming to collect their monthly pension.

Similarly, the transfer of funds for purchase of three free cooking gas cylinders for April has begun. State-run fuel retailers will transfer funds by the fourth of May and June as advance so that beneficiaries can buy LPG cylinders under a Rs 1.7 lakh-crore relief package for the poor, which includes free cooking gas cylinder for three months. The Ujjwala consumers will have the option of getting three regular refills of 14.2kg or up to eight cylinders of 5kg, commonly known as ‘Chhotua’.

Ujjwala has established itself as a major vehicle of social change and will again emerge as a key player in India’s fight against coronavirus, oil minister Dharmendra Pradhan told the ground leaders implementing the scheme as he started a series of interactive sessions through video-conference with over 700 ‘district nodal officers (DNOs)’.

In case a Ujjwala consumer does not take all the three cylinders by June, she can use the money to buy a refill anytime till March 2021.

Pradhan told officers of IndianOil, HPCL and BPCL to ensure delivery of the ‘free’ LPG cylinders to Ujjwala consumers without affecting the overall supply rate. The three government fuel retailers are delivering 60 lakh cylinders daily, or 15% more than usual.

China lied, people died.
====================================================

"China has stolen something from every person on this planet: your time
Everyone’s life is finite and you only get a certain amount of time to exist before it’s all over
China has robbed every person of months of their lives and that is something no one should ever forget"

Everyone should take the official Covid-19 infection numbers with a "grain of salt".

People should be cognizant of the fact that almost every country in the world today is lagging severely behind in terms of testing for the virus. This means that the actual numbers of infected people are far higher than the official stats.

Note: Only people that have symptoms and are really sick are being tested in every country.
There is also another category of people who are infected but don't show any symptoms(asymptomatic) or only have mild symptoms but they may still be spreading the virus silently.

Hospitals in the US are asking people not to overload the health care system, and only seek treatment in hospitals if they are really sick with high fever.....otherwise, they are just telling people to stay at home and self-isolate themselves.
Yes Since, over 60% of the cases have only mild symptoms so all they need is to isolate themselves at home and have healthy food and clean themselves properly and they will get healthy within 7-15 days just at home only. So no need to rush to hospitals in each and every case.

No threat to grid from PM's lights-out call on Sunday | India News - Times of India

NEW DELHI: India’s power grid is ready to deal with demand fluctuation and prevent tripping during Sunday’s 9-minute lights-out and light-a-candle call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to show national solidarity in the fight against coronavirus pandemic.
Power minister R K Singh on Friday reviewed measures to ensure grid stability with officers from the grid operator POSOCO and PowerGrid, the central utility that has built the country’s arterial transmission network. The lights-out is expected to shed 15 GW (giga watt) demand, or less than 4% of the country’s total installed capacity.

Officials involved in grid management and the country’s largest generation utility NTPC told TOI that because the lights-out is planned, preventive steps will be initiated to save the transmission or generation units from tripping. On March 24, TOI had first reported POSOCO putting in a special protocol to ensure grid stability after demand fell sharply as coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown curbed economic activities. Demand shrank by 25% last month to levels last seen in March 1, 2015.
“India’s grid is technologically one of the best in the world and has the advantage of being a ‘one-nation-one-grid’ under a single controller,” the power minister had told TOI. “Eleven renewable energy management centres and static precipitators have been added to deal with intermittency of renewables. There are isolators and islanding mechanisms. Hydel projects can also be switched on quickly to manage any demand surge. Thermal plants have been given greater flexibility with a lower operational threshold of 55%,” he had said. These measures hold good for handling Sunday’s lights-out as well.

Since households account for 33% of demand, there are apprehensions that consumption will slump during the 9 minutes of blackout and surge when people switch lights back on. While lights are switched off on Earth Day, industrial and commercial remains intact. So it is easier to absorb the demand loss. But people feel the impact on the grid will be more now due to little industrial and agricultural consumption, which together account for 59% of demand.
Officials said together with state utilities steps will be taken to taper production from thermal plants, which provide the base load, or prepare some to switch off in the runup to the blackout. Production can be ramped up again and if need be, hydel can be brought on-stream till the thermal plants ramped up output. Since gas is also available due to lockdown-induced drop in CNG demand, gas-fired power plants can also be switched on to stabilise the grid.
Industry players explained that the Indian grid could come under pressure because of 10% renewable content in the generation basket. “Thermal generation can be curtailed in the day to accommodate renewable in the day when demand falls. But you won’t have renewables in the night and it will take 6-8 hours to switch on a thermal plant,” one industry source said.

The International Energy Agency last week cautioned countries over grid instability and resultant blackouts, especially in less-developed systems, as coronavirus pandemic curtails economic activities and demand for power.
Industry and agriculture are the largest power consumers -- 41% and 18% respectively – in the country. Commercial establishments make up 8% of the consumption and domestic use account for 33%. This explains the sharp fall in demand as the lockdown has shuttered industrial and commercial activities. Domestic demand is expected to rise over the next fortnight or so when families staying at home switch on air-conditioners as temperature rises.

Data Story: Even Counting For Tablighi Jamaat’s Recklessness, India Containing Covid-19 At Stage Two Itself
https://swarajyamag.com/politics/da...india-containing-covid-19-at-stage-two-itself
Apart from this Jamaat thing India is doing really great containing the virus so far. But that's the only one part of the grand issue here, isn't it?

Everybody is speaking of lockdown as such as a endgame type of thing. But the truth is that its just time that Govt has bought for itself to be prepared for the virus. Preparing the medical teams, ground staffs, quarantine houses, test kits etc.

While Bill Gates has already announced micro-chipping the vaccinated to enforce compliance, Global Mass surveillance being quietly implemented by big brother GOOG in their plans towards an Orwellian state..

Google launching tool that will publicly track people's movements, allowing health officials to check whether their communities are abiding by social-distancing measures. https://t.co/pbtrUqAVmP

yes and that is very important.
once after lock down people should be careful about what they are dealing with...lock down is sort of endgame which gives insight into how to end the game.
we will have a solid plan by the end of lock down on how to tackle stuffs..
we just need to follow the words of those with data.

I couldn't agree more. After 14 March, yes Govt should lift the lockdown. But heavy restrictions must be enforced if needed forcefully. Because sooner or later a common man has to get out in the world. So, why not prepare for it right away?!

FAK! same here. I bought the best possible lithium powered fast-charging enabled grooming kit from Phillips Norelco 7200. It has 12 different trimming settings, creates a nice army style haricut every time and no peacefool gets my $ to buy beef from the black market.

After Israel started bombing Gaza, peacefools in India started forwarding lists of Jewish owned businesses to boycott. Tit for tat Hindus must start writing reviews of best hair trimmers to buy and prefer buying tubless tyres.
a haircut's a haircut brah. daadi k liye thik hai grooming kit but i'm lucky to have a non-peaceful barber who is the sort that used to give lollipops to kids from a long time, still does probably. and not that sort of lollipop, either. :biggrin2:

Apart from restrictions, some areas should remain under a further lockdown of a week or two.

Is this true ? And how did situation come to this ? Aren't we producing our own kits ?
Till now, there are 386 Coronavirus positive patients incl 259 from Markaz Nizamuddin; We have only 7000-8000 PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) kits left in our stock which will last 2-3 days. We've demanded 50,000 PPE kits on urgent basis: Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain
