The nature of Urban population has changed over years . In that the urban population is not largely migrant in nature - only daily wagers and unorganised sector has migrant population. The exodus will not occur.

Secondly, internet has changed the way Urban and rural lifestyles can remain phobia free. Rural segments / villages are more capable of supporting isolation and separation in India as always. India is more capable of withstanding isolation and segregation as compared to urbanized Europe and America.

The only way India can escape catastrophe is to ensure Corona does not go to our rural areas.

I think the lockdown will continue till we have cases started coming down..+ 14 days of no new cases that would be aideal scenario. Yes, economic activity will sufer but human lie is more precious than few paper bills...

Even if we allowed peoples movement once, its done... coz almost all from hot spot will run to non hot spot states ..

Should India invest like 100 or 1000 or 10000 crores every year on surveillance research? Develop devices, ai, online teams. We might already have funding but lets say we have another one designed specially to keep the islamists on check.
