Today many BJP workers in the whatsapp groups and also in our neighborhood & community are saying that 21 days are way too much time. Until 31 Mrach we were already locked down .We only have food and supplies for the week or so but what then what? Yes Hyderabad shops are opening form 11-6 but that's not the case of WB. Whatever shop is open they are blacking every bit of grain.
JIahdi didi need to ensure black hoarders are met their fate.. she will deliberately try to exploit situation now that this have happened and she is on shaky ground....

I know that. Its the general people like us who are being suffered.

If Modiji is kind enough to lift the curfew after 31st March even for a few hours then we will be delighted

Daily cases in India are 1.1 to 1.3x times the return migration cases ( no it's not imported cases) you are experiencing in China. Unless you classify current Chinese situation as an outbreak, you can't do that for India.

My concern is sincere, I really hope India won't be hit hard by this pandemic as China was, we need business from India to survive the potential economic recession following the outbreak.

Why people are suddenly so high on lockdown... Indian household has habit to ration for a month alwyas.. we indian are having a habit to always but ration for at least a month, like rice, daal, oil, sugar.. at any point of time people have at least fifteen days of resources at home.. only vegetable and milk are bought evry day or alternate day....

Considering current unique situation we all can manage with rice and daal only for a month.. it will help us to loose some weight...

The problem of panic buying is US and Europe culture because they always buy ready to eat from stores and mainly whatever they can store in fridge... Mostly item which can last 2 or three days... I have not seen any western house who store wheat in huge quantity...

The moment the fridges become common thing.. we started loosing this habit..

World needs to learn from India on how to ration for a month

The Mormons keep at least 1 year of dry food supply in their home. This is mandated by their Church.
Also in USA buying in lot is cheaper. So families have stockpile.

And Indian values are the exact opposite, we are willing to sacrifice the economy just so that our people don't start dropping down like China/ Iran.

Even when with 10 deaths/500 cases for a nation of 135 crores, we have the lowest per capita infection rate in the entire world.

There are greater chances of Being hit by a car (1.5 lakh per year) or lightening strike (2000+ per yr) than dying from covid-19.

Modiji is the true Epitomization of Vasudeva Kutumbakam and Sarve Sukhino Bhavantu.
A true leader whose care and concern for his citizens eclipses all financial considerations and political gains.

Hats off to Modiji!
Frustrating ....DFI must have option for multiple 'Like's.

Don't know sir. 21 million is 2.1 crore people. Them shifting to another technology (4G to 5G) seems more plausible than them shifting to another world :)
shifting tech in the middle of trying to stay alive seems.....well..... unlikely?

how so? can you pls elaborate without going into personal details?
I work in a sector where more or less everything is online. Now you will say why is that so bad??!! Because the softwares and app which we deliver to the large companies they have closed their doors indefinitely or just went to a phase where they are unavailable to trial the product & implement. Now, my workers who also work online/offline they has already got me the final product so I have to pay them. Now competitions are very steep so I have to upgrade the product whenever the companies will be accepting them after 14th March or so.

Ah..you are trying to portray your moderate face now.

chances are that world will realize how dangerous chinese habits are for the survival of humanity and will promtly
isolate it.. do you even realise that your have send whole world back by atleast 3 decades,

Lesson learnt -

A ) Dont put all eggs in same basket.. so manufacturing will move to other countries now
B ) US will come back hard on China now.
C ) your colonization inititiaves like Belt & road etc will crash unless dealing with beggars like Pak and likes...
D ) trust that world has in china is gone now....

MAny more...so I do see china facing strong economic head winds...this is another chance for trump to push his make in america program & make in india for us...

Same time, world have also realised that indian way of doing things is still better .. be it greetings or vegeterianism...

not sure of church but people in US do not hoard groceries.. concept of home kitchen is limited to baking a pizza with majority relying on restraunts and eating out.....They do buy in lots due to walmart / costco and sams etc but thats majorly your toiletries etc ..food is still a dailt thing..

Their eating habits aren't suitable for lockdown. Too much meat and potatoes and too little grain as staple. You'll see health complications related to nutrition rise in US after lockdown.
