Till now, China felt like a rival to the world. Now the world sees it as we do- a threat.

Everyone felt that China was a threat or at least had an inkling. With Coronavirus, the world will finally realise that there's no hope in a China led world.

Their stock needed to crash or else the world would have suffered even more so. This pandemic style catastrophe was bound to happen at some point and China would have been unmasked.

All China can do now is spin the narrative but c'mon it's not going to be so easy, if at all.

Guys do not panic, all essential commodities's supply is uninterrupted.
went market( for a brief time though- mask, gloves, everything including me thoroughly sanitized after returned back home now i am well stocked for next some days at least- self+mom+dad)
potato -Rs. 20 , onion -35 , egg -5/6 , fish- local-250/kg, vegs - available abundent, no need to panic, go brief, shop fast , back home, do not forget to sanitize all the items including self by a thorough bath with soap.cloths with dettol if not, good wash with detergent will work i guess, and we are well and good hopefully.

I said China is worse than US.

Debatable. It's USA that provides billion dollar aid and F16s to Pakistan, uses Pak as a pressure point to bully India, etc. China has joined the game, but USA has been doing this for decades before china came on the scene.

India is too autonomous to be used as lackeys. Nobody is surrendering their decisions unlike Japan.

India has always toned down even western proposals when comes to its interests. An alliance is still relevant to take China down. Because at least China doesn't shy away from being low of lowest when comes to creating hurdles for us.

I don't see India serving US to maintain its status. Taking China down doesn't necessarily translate into that. As US has a relative decline, it will eventually transfer power to its rising allies just like Britain did to US.
Anglo-Saxons wouldn't mind transferring power to each other, but they won't do that to India. They need India to fight China, but not long ago they needed China to fight Russia. USA, uk, any western country sees India as a lackey that can be manipulated (because they know Indians are too emotional). that's why Britain, despite occupying India, was able to convince Indians to fight for them instead of fight against them. This is because Indians, especially Hindus, are myopic and overly emotional.

GoI and the Punjab government must give 48 hours for everyone of these returnees to contact the respective authorities with the warning that those not doing so will have a permanent cancellation of their passports if they are Indian and OCI cards if they are foreign nationals along with a mandatory prison term. That should hopefully get a response.

I think if we are to take full advantage of Chinese virus, better to make it mandatory by law that atleast 30% mandatory local production of all components for equipment to be used for local consumption.
