People will die whether you like it or not. The lockdown was just to slow it down so that one's working at the hospital will get a breathing space.

All of this is being done to slow it down and not stop it.

Mother Nature has always been ruthless and no amount of commie propaganda will change that.

Take this thing as much seriously as you can, don't base your solutions based on what China did, that country lied through it's teeth and is still lying. They are still carrying out dead bodies out of Wuhan, but the CCP is not updating the death count.

No the people won't die. I am right now in one of the european countries, some how couldn't return. Situation here is terrific, I am low on grocery but it's managable. If proper care and guidelines are followed, the deaths can be prevented or reduced. In italy, they did not follow the guidelines and when they started doing it, it already had become an epidemic. Same in france.
Public transport is not being used, people using their owned convenience or cycles. Public toilets are closed. And etc.

Just stay at home , and go out only when necessary and use card payment than cash. Or clean notes with sprit before giving and taking back. Use gloves.

Wash your hands as you enter, allow no one to touch you before that and then clean the knob of the door.

Use copper to store drinking water, etc.. You know what to do!

Remember the virus has already mutated and its the same process with every virus, it manages to adapt the host. But lethality has not changed.

True, data from Japan is the prime example. A country worthy to be followed.

May be a year down the line we will look back and see how one virus (corona) was able to break the back of other virus (Jihadi) which was threatening the world.
All the strengths of peaceful's have become weakness in front of this virus...
ghetto living, large families in small spaces, five times a day Namaz at Masjid, unclean mohallas, no faith on medicines, brain washed religious leaders & habit of coming out together at drop of pin....
All are recipe for disaster, couple of infection in a ghetto will take down whole colony in no time.

Internationally petrol prices will kill source of funding & countries like Turkey which were playing refugee games will get stuck with refugee's and also the virus.

Let it unfold, there will be up and downs and will seem that Jihadi's will or are using it as weapon, but finally wen the dust settles & corona gets defeated.... the other virus will be greatly weakened.

Look at the street in Kolkata near the Howrah Bridge. Its the most congested and the among one the of the most busiest streets in entire India. As the picture shows there is barely anyone today which is published by BBC.

This is the power of Modi.

And here is the link to the published article. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-51992364

I hope now people understand the need of Strategic Food Reserves.
In times like these food shortage is very much possible.
Things like, Wheat, Rice, Pulses, Sugar, Salt, Soyabean, anchar, dry fruits should be hoarded by the gov just like OIL.

The safest way to achieve herd immunity is by vaccination... There is a person whose son ass not vaccinated. But the son did not get polio, or measles, because all the kids with him at school, are immunized against the virus, and thus dont carry them Thus, in this case, the fool's son is protected by herd immunity...

What the actual fuck and what the hell did I just read? Being immunized doesn't mean you can protect the non immunized person around you.Your body takes a certain amount of time to kill those invading pathogens even if you have the immunity against it and that is the time you can transmit them to the people around you now it's upto them whether they can fight it off or not. Guys again requesting if we don't have a knowledge about a certain domain learn properly about it before posting anything. This way has resulted into so many misconceptions on the social media and wrong advices to people around us.

Wrong..
This will clear things up.

https://www.vaccinestoday.eu/stories/what-is-herd-immunity/

Herd immunity is a form of immunity that occurs when the vaccination of a significant portion of a population (or herd) provides a measure of protection for individuals who have not developed immunity.’
It arises when a high percentage of the population is protected through vaccination against a virus or bacteria, making it difficult for a disease to spread because there are so few susceptible people left to infect.

This can effectively stop the spread of disease in the community. It is particularly crucial for protecting people who cannot be vaccinated. These include children who are too young to be vaccinated, people with immune system problems, and those who are too ill to receive vaccines (such as some cancer patients).

The proportion of the population which must be immunised in order to achieve herd immunity varies for each disease but the underlying idea is simple: once enough people are protected, they help to protect vulnerable members of their communities by reducing the spread of the disease.

Great display by people of the nation. We can beat coronavirus by remaining ahead of the curve rather than responding. I remember many politicians were making fun of Modi regarding how to clap. Now these claps sounds like slaps to opposition.

Speaking of animals, one dog was quarantined because of coronavirus.
clapping and all is a force feed back that the message broadcast by PM Modi is received at the right dosage

This assumption that destiny will ultimately turn in our favour may not be a right approach.

Chinese, Americans & brits didn’t do nothing and didn’t just just kept hoping for destiny to be in their favour. They schemed, they planned and they implemented. That’s how they succeeded.

India has capacity to conduct 10,000 COVID-19 tests per day::india::india2:

A senior Health Ministry official stated in a press conference in New Delhi that the government has a maximum capacity to test around 80,000 samples per week, which is far more than the figures in the US, France, UK or Germany, which stand at 36,000, 10,000, 16,000 and 42,000 respectively, per week.

Maybe you need a little more common sense... If you live with a group of people who are vaccinated against disease X, the probability of them being active carriers of the disease with a "high viral load" is low. So, a non vaccinated person's probability of "catching the disease X from these vaccinated people is lower", than the case when they are unvaccinated.. I guess you are aware that the probability of catching a disease by inhaling a couple of thousand of viruses causing disease X is not the same as that when you inhale millions of them

US FDA to lift band on two IPCA plants in India for import of coronavirus medicine

After a ban of nearly six years, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has partially lifted an import alert on Ipca Laboratories’ two labs in Madhya Pradesh, India, to ensure the supply of chloroquine tablets, considered to be one of the possible treatments for the infections. The US FDA has voluntarily imposed a ban on MP’s Ratlam plant in July 2014.

The medicine is considered one of the possible treatments for the infection, officially called Covid-19, by the US Centre for Disease Control (CDC). For the import of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) of hydroxychloroquine sulphate and chloroquine phosphate produced at the company’s APl manufacturing unit situated at Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh, the US FDA has partially lifted the ban to allow the import in the US.

I wanted to add my two cents.

If you plot journey of a disease on a graph with vertices and edges, clusters will start to form within the main graph. It is vital to identify those edges to block the traversal paths between the clusters. Once isolated, these clusters will need to be able to sustain themselves on their own using allocated reserves of food, medicines and other vital supplies. India needs to have contingency plans for such biological catastrophe. We are talking about more than a billion people here. This is why it is important to instill discipline in the entire population by force if necessary.

. will Reliance/others relax per day data caps considering most WFH employees use those plans. AT&T already is doing this in US i believe.
