how does running away cures/help the damn thing!

the govt is helping yet these morons want to infect others? find them, quarantine them...if they recover slap criminal charges on them for risking a large number of people's health!

some are worried about the facilities... and stuffs..

Anyway..they are tracked and quarantined now.
but how many did they infect on the run...

I had been treated by Dr ramasubramanium in 2003 when i was in college and down with viral infection the best doctor for infectious disease in Chennai i would say , He was able to diagnose and treat me in just 3 days i got discharged .

Well I know so many left loonies are going in social media and saying govt is not testing them bla bla . But what is the point of over burdening the system which is very crucial with testing negative cases .

I am been running with slight fever and cough with sputum and runny nose also slight head ache for more than week . But i haven't travelled any where at all and neither i came across someone who is tested positive in my city . So no point going and asking for test at this point . Common sense should be placed higher compared to unnecessary panic

Currently in TN (my state) testing is being done only for people who have returned from countries where there is local transmission of the virus (like China , Italy, Iran etc), or someone who has had contact with a person proven to be infected with the virus. If you have symptoms, and you dont fall into those two categories you have to basically self quarantine at home.

A lot of people were wondering why this is done and testing is not open to everyone, but these are WHO guidelines that are being followed, (probably these guidelines are to ensure there are enough testing kits for high probability cases).

Testing will be open the general population only if local transmission is confirmed. In India's case at the moment I think majority of the cases are from outside or have a travel history to those countries with local transmission.

The usual suspects are the ones doing it. In fact this particular lady from Chennai is trying to create some outrage against the TN govt, and hiding people who are giving her an proper explanation as to why testing is limited.

They are even spreading bogus whatsapp messages. A few adys ago, the coffee guy at work showed me this whatsapp message that claimed in Chennai 1000 people have got it, and 500 have died.... Calmed him down and explained things a bit.

Overall feel our govt is doing a good job tbh, but there are random variables that just can mess even the best efforts like these idiots:
