Well, China and WHO did warn against repatriation of foreign citizens under lockdown back to their countries. Now, those countries could not cope with the back infections and re-infections.. including my own country, Malaysia although we are fortunate that our climate is constantly above 28C. The problem here is most countries misdiagnosed quarantined patients with the wrong tests and unwittingly released them. Many countries rely on US CDC for the infomation on testkits initially instead of relying on as per WHO information. US usually don't listen to international organizations. Anyway, CDC has since corrected the error.

It seems, US is repeating the same mistakes of 2009 H1N1 pandemic again which killed 285,400 worldwide.

Interestingly, pneumonic outbreaks seem to be more prevalent in enclosed cool air conditioned environments here in the tropics. I wonder why hospitals have to be so cold and not just revert to the old fan cooled, open windows environments. Of course, I am referring to tropical climates.
