Boeing and Unite Technologies ( Pratt and Whitney) derive bulk of their sales from Commercial aircraft/ non military sales so the rankings do make sense at some level.

I don't like these lists because it doesn't include security sales which should be included. For the list to be complete it needs to list arm sales. It is rather pointless including commercial sales with no defence or security applications.
