Chinese PLA's Special Operations Force commando.
They specialise in Urban Environment, just like Rastriya Rifles

SAS Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU). They specialise in Urban Environment and Hostage rescue and the only SAS unit which operates on British soil. They are famous for 1980 iranian embassy siege

Do you think the last picture in the post are of SAS CTU operators? Don’t they look like US units belonging to the US Army. either SF or Delta Force?

Look at their desert camouflage pattern, it was the standard British standard camo pattern during early 2000s.

Back home in Urban Environment, their camouflage pattern looks like this

No they are British.

The unit is also known as the Increment (??). But they do much more than just CT/HRT. The work primarily under a Joint SFHQ-SIS command. SBS operators are also known to be seconded to them but under SAS oversight. They do UC operations globally and operate within the UK.

Maybe getjtng the name of unit wrong.

You can read a bit more here

This is the same unit which invaded Iraq and was first NATO force, on Iraqi soil.
They along with CIA Special Activities Division played a crucial role in toppling the saddam government

It is funny and Sad how even North Korea is attempting even with cheap equipment to improve there Armed Forces but meanwhile we in India are still stuck with using old looking uniforms and equipment that has been in use from time of WW1/WW2.
Haha!!! I've gotten immune to those feelings long time back, when I saw a picture of Palestinian hamas terrorist with Dual Tube NVG mounted on a ballistic helmet and side accessories as well!!! My heart just stopped knowing the fact that even Para SF don't have those!!

Eh while your are right and I have no disagreement there is one more point I would like to add. Logistics and Intelligence is just as important part of Special force.
For instance US has top tier force insertion and extraction capability with it's Black Hawk, Chiook,C130 and V22.
Intelligence is the other important aspect, if u woudl manage snoop out as much information about the target as possible than it would make the mission smooth.

I also try not to think about these things as well and try to go with status quo but when I see these types of pictures or pictures of our Jawans it’s just keep reminding me how backward our procurement system truly is and it always amazes me how the armed forces never actively try to improve themselves especially there equipment and training. They only change themselves when things hits the fan or there is a huge crisis at hand. Even then the changes are minimal at best or they are not even implemented right.

No doubt about that!! There should be no compromise on Intelligence and surveillance systems in our armed forces!!
Relating to extraction, US navy has dedicated special forces unit for extracting navy seal after mission, they are called special warfare combatant craft crewman (SWCC)

Unfortunately, that's the mindset our countrymen have. They only act when something bad had happened, but a country like China, prepare for something bad to happen, that's the difference!
