I do not see any rape culture in Sweden. Of course they have very low threshold about such things, people accuse of rape very easily. About turning away from witnessed rape, I think it is more about the western society that is so detached to everything. People think "it is not my business".

Why should we believe that? When you can tar India's culture and heritage at one shot and claim that "India's culture is the cause of rapes", why should I not say that Scandinavian nations have a rape culture - the highest rape rates are in Scandinavian nations like Sweden. I am sure Finland is not that far behind.

Unfortunately, after hearing relentless propaganda and falsehoods about my country from sundry observers all over the world who don't know anything about India, I have realized that there is no point in trying to provide sensible and reasonable arguments.

Best way is to talk filth about them, the same way as they talk filth about us.

Yeah, maybe these high profile cases like "I went to the police because my daughter was raped, they raped me", "Bus driver took part at the rape happening in the bus", "five year old girl raped in India" or "Indians google for sex with birds" have affected your image globally. Yellow press is always looking for scandals because they sell. I hope more positive news would come out from India.

I guess if you feel like talking filth helps, that is your choice. I read some articles about how caste system causes rape in India, then some members doubted that, so I am now inclined to say that the effect of caste system on rapes is not so big.

Try to learn from Thailand, few years back they were known as the "sex tourist paradise", now their image is as clean as it could be. They have manage image campaigning better than India, I guess.
