My DFI name is my actual name

Meaning: Hindu name from Sanskrit šrinivasa ‘abode of Lakshmi’ or ‘abode of good fortune’, from šri (a byname of Lakshmi, wife of Vishnu, also meaning ‘good fortune’) + nivasa ‘abode’. This name is an epithet of the GOD Vishnu.

I am a Mad Indian- both Angry Indian and Nutcase Indian . Angry at the fact that India has neither lived to its true potential nor is there any indication for that to happen any time soon. Nutcase in the sense that, people who think too far ahead from the society are seen as nutcases by then society- be it Darwin, Tesla , Copernicus, only to be proven right later. Hence my name Mad Indian :p
Troll indian would be better

Punjab has given many warriors to this nation . I was deeply impressed by Brig. Kuldeep singh (battle of longewala). He is one of my favourite .

Also when i joined this forum , i was listening to YoYo Honey singhs album "Lions Of Punjab" . so i copied it . I'm a non punjabi , but was born in Military Hospital Jalandhar when my father was posted there .

After looking up the wiki it seems Texas comes form Tejas meaning friends. However I do not think our title Maitra means friends. (Mitra does mean being friends or allies.) I have heard it is because of the worship of the sun god Surya,Vishnu deites like Ram,Krishna and Mitra that the title came to existence.

However there is also a theory that Maitra is probably derived form the title Mishra. In that case it would mean friend or allies.

"Maitra" is a Barendra sreni Brahmin surname and closely related to other Varendri surnames like Sanyal,Lahiri,Bhaduri,Kahali etc.Your ancestors most probably came from the Kannauj region just like ours(rarhi brahmins).

Dharmic Socialist Zionist!! Your life should be confusing.
No Sir,on the contrary it's quite simple.I am a Dharmic by birth and i despise of the traditional "Caste system" because of it's discriminatory nature and believe that all the Dharmic followers are my fellow brothers and sisters, hence a socialist.
Now regading Israel,i am sympathetic towards them only because my forefathers have also faced the brunt of naked Islamic imperialism for centuries like the Israelis and we have survived the ordeal to become one of the strongest nations on earth,in the same manner Israel has survived a lot to become the most powerful and stable country in the entire middle east.Hence this unconditional love and support to Israel and it's citizens:smile:
