I was talking about claiming origins from MENA and Central Asia guys.
And what causes them to worship Those people ?
Because it's where their religion comes from.
It must be noted that Islam for them is not just one identity,it is supposed to be officially their only identity and hence it is their primary identity.
Any person following a foreign religion however nationalist will have a tendency to idiolize the place and people who created the religion.
This is especially true for Islam which is a huge living memeplex that is designed to make wannabe arabs and destroy local religions and cultures.
Moreover in Pakistan's history they made some national decisions based on their calculations at that time.
First of all the formation of Pakistan itself was to say that Muslim culture is different from Indian culture(which it is, Jinnah is right in a way he did not think). This means that a Pakistani officially cant lay claim to indias culture.this means as time goes on that Pakistanis especially those more influenced by Islam will not identify genetically with indians as if they do then partition is a wierd decision.
This naturally means that Pakistanis will have to believe that they came from somewhere else which looking at geography means that it can only be from c Asia or Arabia.
Secondly,The more modern Pakistanis and liberals in the old times of Pakistan might have made a calculated decision to identify as Arabs becuz they thought that Arabs will have a better rep than indians around the world and all liberals care about is presentable types not nationalism.they thought that partitioning with India and declaring themselves Arabs will make the world look at them more highly based on the reason that they thought India will be a relative shit hole.their plans backfired as indians filled with a non Muslim majority were easy to develop and adopt tech and hence grew faster and will grow faster.they were bogged down by their Muslim majority and they don't have oil to hide the lack of development.this was inevitable and would have happened without Zia,Jinnah was right in a way but not in the way he thought,Islam cannot live with other religions not other way round.
Now you see many affluent, liberal Pakistanis realising the calculated identity exchange was a failure as neither can they be accepted as Arabs by true Arabs and they have burner the Indian bridge, hence they are stuck with a VERY BAD identity as far as PR is concerned of pakistani.it must be noted however that Arab identity is not very much better due to terrorist image and is kept up by relative wealth of rich oil states.
Liberals Pakistanis are trying to claim back Indian identity(we must not allow) as they defenetly cannot get Arab identity(they have tried and also it's not much better nowdays and may further dip when oil becomes useless).Indian identity will afford them the ownership of all the colourful cultural items(dresses, art, food, etc) of India unlike that of Arabs(although Turks are bit better),they can claim the economic power of India and will dilute their terrorist image, they will also get the high tech accomplishments of India now and in the future.they are also making this decision taking into account future changes.some are rebranding themselves as western but this fail as they are visibly non western.
The ones that do claim Arab identity are mostly poor types and those of religious mind preferably both, this constitutes a majority of pakistan.however it must be understood that a large part of Pakistan's pop are legitimately from central Asia.
