We produce 0.5 million engineers every year...but how many of them have gone beyond being glorified labors?
We should compare our Education with likes of USA,Germany or Singapore then only we can progress.

Yes, increasing the budget is the first step but there has to be a very strong plan in place to upgrade institutions or else you risk losing everything to corruption.

The problem is not the funds. You have adequate funds. The problem is the source of funds. Yes, as long as you let the oil rich Wahhabi/Salafi retards from the fascist Kingdom of Saudi Arabia fund your madrassas, Pakistan, as @Blackwater said, will continue to be #1 in bomb-making.

You get enough money from the US, right? Perhaps use that to build schools, and say no to the Saudis.
