The CIA drone attack June 4 in northwest Pakistan that killed deputy al-Qaeda leader Abu Yahya al-Libi is the latest in a string of incidents that has brought U.S.-Pakistan relations to "a new low, relative to what we've seen since 9/11," says CFR South Asia expert Daniel Markey. In addition to drone attacks, the 2011 killing of Osama bin Laden, U.S. air attacks killing Pakistan soldiers along the Afghan border, and anti-Pakistan rhetoric have all contributed to the strained relationship. Markey also attributes the rift to the intensity of the Obama administration's counterterrorism focus and Pakistani mistrust about U.S. objectives in the region.

At present, Pakistan have almost become useless for Uncle. Just like Taiwan can not be used against China ...Pakistan can not be used anymore against India. Times have changed..geopolitical situation has changed dramatically in last few years.
With emerging alliance between Russia, China, Brazil and India..Pakistan is too "puny" to counter and harass this group. Dont forget Iran..on the other side with the new BRICS alliance. Russia id sitting on the head of Paki in Tajikistan with a 40 year extension of lease of military base there. Indian military is approx 10 to 12 times more powerful it can be deadly blow to Paki if Paki does miscalculate. Paki economy is in long Uncle and the King can keep on putting alms in this "bottomless pit of financial need"?
The possibilty that Paki can implode and Uncle may have to pick up the pieces....No ..Uncle doesnot want more burden.
In south China sea...the epicenter of Uncle's ambitions...who can be used as pawns? Poor filipinos .mostly women...Old and sick japanese or a handful of Kangaroos....No..won't work against the Giants.
So, like it or not, I can visualize a Multipolar World. Sorry..Uncle...democracy wins finally.
