Let's use group autism to track down urban naxals and report them to police. Look for NGOs , SJWs, LGBTQRST lobby, poets, drama teachers, union leaders, student wings, think tanks, legal advocacy groups and others in their mold.

Vivek Agnihotri- Newslaundry interview... watch it fully before it is taken down.

VA fumbled on some facts, but it cannot deny the fact that interviewer hated VA from the start.

He fumbled on facts but what i liked was he was confident. Whereas the interviewer was looking desperate, nervous and uncomfortable. The video is heavily edited to suit the propoganda of this communist channel.

http://www.opindia.com/2018/02/ille...ys-bungalow-on-illegally-grabbed-forest-land/

Illegal bungalows: Did you know of Arundhati Roy’s bungalow on illegally grabbed forest land?

So Shahrukh Khan’s vacation home in Alibaug has been ruled as “Benami property” and attached by the Income Tax Department. It is not hard to see what comes next : some statements on rising intolerance, Bollywood moralizers coming together to protect their own, etc. Then, some small aspiring celebrity gets trolled for speaking in favor of benami property and next thing you know, everything is again the fault of the ‘Bhakts’. Well travelled path.

Usi ka shehar, Wahi Khuda, wanhi ke gawah. Mujhe yakeen tha Gunaah mera hi niklega.

But this thing about bungalows reminds me of a story. A story from the pristine Panchmarhi hills of Madhya Pradesh. Where the sun shines bright, where the sky is a wonderful blue, where the animals of the land lead their lives undisturbed in the virgin forest.

Then, one day in the early 1990s, this virgin forest has a visitor. A visitor who sees this lush green forest and falls in love with it. And decides that he must have it to himself. He must grab a piece of this virgin forest, solely for himself, get everyone else out of there and make it his vacation home.

Who is this visitor? Some Brahmanical colonizer from the RSS? Well, not exactly.

This visitor has made his fortune out of sensitising city dwellers and rich foreign audiences about the importance of the environment and protection of tribals. His films have made him wealthy and he purchases the land without difficulty. A few years later, he marries into his own intellectual caste, another firebrand author, writer, activist who stubbornly opposes the Brahmanical Indian state taking the forests away from the tribals of the heartland.

The happy couple who love their vacation home in the forest? Pradeep Kishen and Arundhati Roy.

Because nothing serves the purpose of India’s tribals more than making sure that Arundhati Roy has a vacation home built on their land where she can reflect on their deprived status. Where else will the powerful intellectual opposition to the Sardar Sarovar Dam come from? And wouldn’t Arundhati Roy need a vacation home in the area if she plans to oppose the “new development plan for the Pachmarhi area in which a hotel-building would be allowed at the cost of despoiling the beauty and sylvan backdrop of the colonial hill station”?

I don’t know if the word ‘colonial’ in the linked India Today article from 1999 was used by Arundhati Roy herself, but I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if she insisted on it.

Vacation home building for intellectuals? Yes!

Hotel building? No, no, a thousand times no!

Hotels have a way of attracting the middle class crowd that can’t afford to have private vacation homes. You let them build a hotel near their vacation home in the Panchmarhi hills and next thing you know the place becomes like every other city where the writers and activists have to use the same streets and breathe the same air as everyone else.

In fact, Pradeep Kishen even became a member of a government committee to hear objections against the building of the hotel. In the course of discharging his duties, he presented objections from the “people” against the evil capitalists. The objections against converting “Panchmarhi into the Las Vegas of Madhya Pradesh.

Here, “people” obviously means Kishen’s wife, Ms. Arund***ti Roy. Did you think any other people matter?

And then it happens! In 1999, the noble activists of Panchmarhi end up receiving a notice about their own vacation home being built on illegally grabbed forest land. Thus begins a long battle in the bourgeois courts of India’s broken republic.

In the course of this battle, powerful arguments are presented by those in Arundhati Roy’s favor. One such argument published in India Today:

The alleged violation of the law in Bariaam, even if technical, by the landowners pales into insignificance when compared with illegal developments on the other side of the Bariaam Lake. Many senior government officials have purchased land in areas falling within the Pachmarhi wildlife sanctuary.

Hmmm… seems like Bhakts did not discover whataboutism after all.

Or this one:

A house nearby is owned by the sister of Vikram Seth, another author, who wrote A Suitable Boy.

See? Members of the same caste group live nearby. The sister of Vikram Seth. Mr. Pradeep Kishen and Ms. Arundhati Roy need to be near their own kind. Not Vikram Seth himself, mind you, but his sister. It’s all about the bloodline. It’s a caste group after all. Not every chaiwala or pakodawala or beggar can get in.

The last I know of this long battle begun in 1999 is that the local court declared the bungalow illegal in 2010, upholding a decision of an earlier Revenue Court. An appeal was filed with the Hoshangabad Divisional Commissioner, which was also dismissed in 2011. But our activists are determined not to let go. They had filed a petition with the Madhya Pradesh High Court in 2003 itself.

I wish Ms. Roy and Mr. Kishen the very best of luck in the High Court. May you get justice.

Why do you think Amir Khan is getting so much traction in China ? Is he really that good ? There have been many good actors and actresses since inception of Bollywood so why is PRC suddenly promoting this one actor (who's not even in his prime anymore) so much ? It's interesting given his past where he has made his political leanings quite clear (Rang De Basanti, Narmada Bachao, Satyamev Jayate etc ). PRC is grooming assets in Bollywood while everyone's looking at ISI/Dawood hand in everything Bollywood does.

Increasingly he's going to these public events organized by ambedkarite groups too, please connect the dots:

When was bollywood ever interested in subalterns and their politics ? Aaj tak toh kabhi kisi bollywood film me ambedkar ka naam nahi suna

  • Beef ban
  • Lynchings
  • Campus protests (may be even tukde tukde gang on the show)
  • Paani foundation (but may not speak on Jal yukt shivar abiyan by maha government)
  • Ganga cleanup
Just to coverup the bias few mentions of Female pilots, female sports persons...

I have doubts that he will cover beef ban and lynchings. One can def. expect campus protests but he is too subtle to invite the tukde tukde gang because that would make it too obvious where he stands in the political spectrum. He'd def. cover some environmental issues, probably the sterlite factory thing in TN. Caste issues. Female issues for sure.

There seems to be a confluence of interests between west, china and pakis when it comes to urban naxals. While most Indians are only looking at the paki and western hand in all of this, they seem to be completely oblivious or even the chinese role.

Recall what happened in 1971 too when China sent its forces to Indian borders. That's why one shouldn't read too much into spats between US and China or Russia and China. When it comes to India, they are all working together. India is on its own, sooner we get it the better.

Completely agree with you on this mate.....

i won't be surprised if china funded every civil rights movement across the globe in the past decade. China has gained the most economically and strategically in the past decade.

it's not just china russia and U.S. it's germany UK too. it is easy to identify, every country which has funds studies on Indian religion caste issues are part of this group.

yes, i also agree that when it comes to india there are enough intellectual elite mercenaries to carry out anything which keeps the country pre-occupied and not allowing us to focus on progress. Thereby delaying the progress.

SC extends house arrest of activists, hearing on Sept 17

(L-R) Activists Varavara Rao, Sudha Bharadwaj, Gautam Navlakha, Arun Ferreira and Vernon Gonsalves were arrested for alleged Maoist links and in connection with Koregaon-Bhima violence.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday extended the house arrest of five activists arrested in connection with the Koregaon-Bhima violence case for another five days.

A three-judge Bench headed by Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra deferred to September 17 the hearing on the plea filed by five intellectuals, including historian Romila Thapar, after it was informed that senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, representing the petitioners, was busy in another court.Earlier, Singhvi had appeared before the Bench and said the matter could be taken up in the post lunch session as he had to appear in another case.

In a pan-India crackdown on August 28, poet Varavara Rao was arrested in Hyderabad, activists Vernon Gonsalves and Arun Ferreira in Mumbai, trade unionist and lawyer Sudha Bhardwaj in Faridabad and Chhattisgarh and civil liberties activist Gautam Navlakha in Delhi for suspected Maoist links.
The police said the arrested activists were not being indicted in the FIR for the first time but some had past “criminal antecedents” and were imprisoned. The whole process of search of the activists in June, including Rona Wilson, Surendra Gadling, Sudhir Dhawale and others had been videographed, the police said.

The Maharashtra Police alleged that the arrested activists were planning to carry out violence in the country and ambush security forces and the raids were part of a probe into a conclave — Elgar Parishad — held in Bhima-Koregaon, near Pune, on December 31, 2017, which had allegedly triggered violence the next day.

Acting on a petition filed by historian Romila Thapar, economists Prabhat Patnaik and Devaki Jain, sociologist Satish Deshpande and Commonwealth human rights initiative senior adviser Maja Daruwala, the top court had on August 29 had restrained the police from taking them into their custody and ordered their house arrest.

The top court had last week taken strong exception to the Pune Police press briefing on the arrest of five activists, saying they (police) tried to insinuate the court. The Maharashtra Police have questioned the locus standi of the five petitioners in the case.

Nine European MPs urge EU to cancel agreements with India till arrested activists are released
They accused India of ‘indiscriminately killing Adivasis, Dalits and religious minorities’, and imprisoning human rights activists.
by Scroll Staff

Nine members of the European Parliament on Friday urged the European Commission, a body that manages the day-to-day business of the European Union, to cancel all agreements with New Delhi until India releases arrested human rights activists and stops the “hunt” against marginalised communities and minorities.

In a letter to the European Union’s top foreign policy diplomat, the MPs condemned the police action on 10 activists in several cities of India on August 28. They noted that five of the activists had been arrested arbitrarily and were charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act – “one of the most barbaric laws, copied from the colonial law book”.

The statement was signed by members of the European Parliament Lídia Senra, Ángela Vallina, Paloma López, Merja Killonen, Ana Gomes, Clara Aguilera, Ciprian Tanasescu, Claude Moraes and Julie Ward. It was addressed to Federica Mogherini, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

The MPs asked how the European Commission could have “contacts and agreements” with a government that “defends that there are first- and second-class humans, indiscriminately kills Adivasis, Dalits and religious minorities, and imprisons human rights activists”.

They said the arrests amount to “a very serious attack on the already crumbling state of democracy in India”, and also demanded the release of five other activists arrested in June.

On August 28, the Pune Police had raided the homes of 10 human rights activists across the country and arrested five of them – Arun Ferreira, Vernon Gonsalves, Gautam Navlakha, Varavara Rao and Sudha Bharadwaj. The following day, India’s Supreme Court ordered that they be placed under house arrest till the next hearing. They continue to be under house arrest.

The police have claimed that the activists were in the process of fomenting large-scale violence and destruction of property, which would have resulted in chaos. The police said this was part of the agenda of the banned outfit Communist Party of India (Maoist).

The activists have been accused of involvement in an event organised in Pune on December 31, which was followed by caste-related violence at a nearby village the next day. The police have said the activists’ speeches at the event were meant to incite hatred

80-90% of these MPs seem to be women. Coincidence?
I have seen a disturbing trend in recent times. We have around 10 - 15 % of women who are proper feminazi. Similar number is 'based' like Lauren Southern, Pallavi Joshi, Ann Coulter, Ayn Rand and of course apna @12arya madam.

However rest are plain ditzy sheep. The SJW in the name of women empowerment are hurting these women by convincing them to work 80 hour weeks in their early 30s and by the time they try to settle down they become cat ladies. Scary ....... :eek1:
